Good light but a pain to fit!
As a light this would score 5 stars, nice diffused light and adjustable for angle. It is however a really horrible one to fit!I have fitted my share of outside lights and often meet the problem of the designer making no consideration of the installer, with fiddly screws and tight spaces to route and connect the wires in.At first this looks easy the terminal strip unclips to allow connection but, I found it impossible to get the front fitted flush to the backplate. Eventually I gave up struggling in situ and took it down to check it out on the bench, even with the integral terminal block removed and just the internal wires the backplate still did not want to sit flat.Something (I suspect it is the white control unit itself) binds stopping a good seal. Another 5mm depth on the back box would solve it. I gave up trying to get a perfect seal and drilled a small drainage hole in the bottom of the plastic back plate, luckily my light is sheltered by the gutter above so any poor seal should not be exposed to water.

Failed after 2 years
This is a nice looking light and does a great job of lighting up my driveway when arriving home in the dark, however as some others have mentioned it is quite tricky to fit not impossible but certainly awkward especially when up a ladder with a screwdriver in hand. After 2 years mine has also developed a fault, when turning off it flicks about 10-12 times which is annoying for me and probably way more annoying for my neighbours!

Good but tricky to fit
Once fitted good item, but really fiddly to fit. In the end I photoed the workings in the back disconnected them fitted mains then reconnected fittings. Set up was easy really bright. I put self amalgamating tape round edge to seal from water ingress

Lovely lights, but what a fiasco to get them working
Two of these lights were purchased for our new, oak beam, porch.Upon unpacking both boxes, I found both backplates on the lights bulging. When I undid both backplates, I found the wiring on both units trapped and squoshed, under the backplate. They had been assembled like this. The reason for this was obviously clear. There is so little spare space inside that the person assembling these just rammed all the wiring in, quickly put on the backplate and screwed it down, knowing that the wires were trapped (because the backplate protruded at that point).Apparently, it's OK to send these out in that fashion, even if it means the wiring could have been damaged. Not a good start!I then spotted in one of the units, a 'live' wire not screwed into a connector.Had I not spotted this and put it right, this could have made the whole unit 'live' and very dangerous.Everything inside was crammed in, leaving very little space for additional wiring. As for adding 2 more of my cables, (one in wire, and one out wire to feed the second light), well, that was a nightmare. In the end I had to shorten some of the wiring, reorganise the layout, and add cable ties to bunch up cables, so as to create some more space.Whilst doing this another cable popped out from a connector.Upon inspection, this cable had a crimp on it which was too fat to fit into the connector, so in construction, it was pushed into the connector hole but not tightened up.Clearly a shoody construction, so I ended up checking and retightening everything inside. So, after yet more wasted time, I was ready to fit the units. The next problem was that this light requires a supply cable entry from the back.If you want a side/top/bottom entry point then you will need to either gouge out a hole behind the backplate, or you will have to add another backplate.I did the latter, and made a 15mm timber block, in which I made holes and channels for the wiring to enter and pass through, and then stained it to match the oak frame.Yet again, more time wasted.I have never been more frustrated with putting up a light than I had been on this occasion. So little thought has gone into the design, and the person fitting the unit is left with having to redo bits and make modifications just to install this light. Why not make the unit a cm larger in both directions to make life easy for the fitter? And why not make 'knockout' entry points on all 4 sides? And if you value your life, don't install the light without *Very* carefully checking all the wires and connections. The finished unit looks great, but was it worth all the aggro? From my point of view, no, and had I known I would have avoided these lights at all costs.Bear in mind that if you get someone else to fit these, you will most likely either have a cheesed-off electrician, a badly fitted unit, or a heftier bill for all the hassle.Be warned.

Modern external pir light
Replaced old lantern type exterior light with this new Sebson unit. Easy to install and light output is excellent. One criticism it is not obvious where the adjustment screws are located ( you swivel the sensor cover down ) this is not shown in the instructions. So far I am really pleased with this light.

Too little space in back box.
Like others have noted too little space for everything in back box. Cable in/out would have been a major problem however I removed the PIR and used remote switch. Covered PIR hole with blind grommet and looks good but more vitally proving more space for cable in/out. No cable entry on sides and one rear grommet hole that would never take two cables. Ordered 4 at first but need 5 to cover 12 m wide patio with even light. Looks good, but probably overpriced for quality. Still not easy to sit flat due to design.

Good looking light but lifetime too short
I bought this light to go over my front door. The PIR was extremely sensitive and kept picking up people in the street. From day one it suffered the fault where it flashed 7/8 times with shortening periods after being activated, this could be very distracting as I have glass in my front door.I checked the life expectancy of 15000 hours it didn't get anywhere close to that failing after 3 years.

Descent product
Good bright light, but not much room in the casing to add/connect additional cable. In the whole though a good product
