Brooks Women’s Glycerin GTS 21 Supportive Running Shoe

I wear a size 9 woman’s but in Brooks I have to buy a 9 wide. They’re a bit tight at first but just like any other brand new shoe you need to break them in a little. Once broken in they’re awesome and so comfortable. I love these shoes & this brand. I suggest this type and brand of shoe to fellow friends/coworkers.I work retail and so I am on my feet all day long. The heel has a thick cushioning sole (makes me an inch or so taller). They also breath well. At the end of the day my feet still feel good. I’ve had them for about a year now and they’re still in good shape. They’re stylish too. I get several compliments on them.

This Glycerin GTS 21 shoe is super comfortable and super supportive. However, it appears to run half size small. I ordered a Brooks Launch 9 running sneaker style in a medium size 8, about 3 months ago and it fit perfectly. But this GTS 21 syle was half size too small so I ordered a 8.5 size and it fits perfectly. My normal shoe size is 7.5 but in ALL sneakers (Sketchers, Ryka) the company tells you that it runs small so I have been ordering size 8 for all my shoes and everything has been fitting fine with a size 8. This is the first time I have had to order a size 8.5. Some reviews of this shoe did say this ran small; hence why I ordered an 8. But 8 was not long enough in this style. I could fit into the shoe but my toe came right to, and touched, the end of the shoe. I was afraid when my feet swelled in the summertime, the shoe might not be comfortable. I am in my 70s and have no cushioning on the bottom of my feet anymore so I need a shoe that has good cushioning to exercise walk 3 times a week or just walk when I am shopping. Normally, I end up adding a cheap chushioned insole in all of my sneakers no matter how much cushion the company says the shoe says it has but I will not need to do that to this one. I would order this again.

I'm a fan of Brooks as I over pronate. I've bought the Ariel and Adrenaline in the past, but the last 3 years bought Adrenaline GTS. I wear a 8.5W Women's, always buy one pair and keep a second new in reserve when the first wears out as difficult to find my size and preferred colors. Reviews of the Glycerine GTS 21 Supportive stated best for over pronation but reported smaller and tighter in the toe box recommending sizing up, so I did: 1/2 size to 9W. I agree with reviewers. Amazon also reported many are returned (perhaps due to sizing issues?). Just arrived, have plenty of room in the toe box and don't feel any issue around my big toe regarding rubbing (see customer reviews), will wear in the house today to insure issue doesn't arise. Otherwise, very comfortable and not much longer or bulkier than my Brooks Adrenaline 8.5W. Purchased Used/Like New so arrived without box but otherwise looks unworn, excellent savings so pleased with purchase.

Very stable and feels like 2ce as much cushioning as the ghost series. Very comfortable. I did go up 1/2 size because my foot is wide and they r perfect. Very roomy in toe area. Love them.

I have wide, size 12 feet. I typically have to order men's shoes and was excited to see this in my size. I usually wear orthotics in my shoes but so far, these have fit beautifully and have enough support in them. As I continue to wear them, perhaps I'll need to use my insert. I have many issues with my feet. I pronate. My 2nd toe is longer than the rest and steps down first so a wide toe box is needed. I have flat feet. I have bunions and build up callouses. It is difficult to find a shoe that accommodates all of these issues and can provide comfort and stability. This show is a winner for me.

I will buy Brooks every time I need athletic shoes. Comfortable and durable.

Bought these as a Christmas gift for my mom that is in her feet a lot! She loves them and only tennis she wears now!
