I'd purchased another similar makeup bag from a different retailer, and it was way too big for the makeup I take when traveling (which is a smaller amount than my larger 'stash' at home). So I was in search of something similar, but a little smaller - and this was my choice. It's actually the perfect size for the makeup I will take when traveling. I love the little elastic straps in the middle to hold brushes, and there's a zipper pouch for small items or whatever you need secured. The material and the strings are both good quality, and I love the bright color (which I thought would be red, but it's actually more of a mix between red and salmon/pink - which I love better than if it were just red). It's a nice bonus the seller threw in a cute little mirror. All in all, I'm very happy with this purchase and it will be very handy when I'm traveling and need to sit on a bed to put my makeup on, or spread my items out on the counter of a hotel bathroom.
