Book in Excellent condition
Gift for my brother who severed on this ship. I also was present for the Re-commissioning by President Reagan. This book has great pictures and is in excellent condition. Thank you for great transaction and fast shipping.

dieses Buch ist in erster Linie eine Erinnerung für mich an das Battleship New Jersey.1967 habe ich sie gesehen, als sie aus der Reserve in Philadelphia US Navy Yard für den Einsatz in Vietnamein Refreshing Program durchlief und 2013 als Museumsschiff in Camden.Das Buch ist mit dem vielen Bildmaterial hervorragend gelungen.Der Autor hat sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben.Thank you very much.Börgers Petty Officer 1,class/retired

I bought this as a gift for my 11 yr old nephew who spent a night on the actual battleship. This book is great! Terrific photos! Lots of history too!

Best Shot is Cover Shot!
Not what I expected from a 5 star rating. Good pictures of NJ but mostly in home waters. Far too many shots of 'people' pictures with their names and civilian political ranking. Boring!! These all two frequent, completely unnecessary Ma And Pa Kettle pics are equal to watching the Oscars for 4 hrs and trying to endure all those boring, endless names given by every oscar recipient. AMC

Useful modeler's reference
Very good reference work for scale modelers. This history of the New Jersey is part of a rather small selection on the Iowa class battleships.
