If you have autistic children then you'll know what I'm raking about, these things work great for that purpose and they will work on just about anything, fridge, cupboards, toilet.

You really have to pinch hard with your fingers to get it to open, so it's not always easy to do, especially if your hands are full

There is not a thing I don’t like about this. I think who ever thought of this idea was a genius! Serves the purpose for what I bought it for!

I have tried multiple securement devices for my 14mth old and these BY FAR are the best around!! They are so easy to use and the button completely distracted her from learning how to open it! They have kept her from getting into every cupboard and drawer within her short reach and been a life saver!!! I have tried other brands and would never ever choose to go any other route now!

This lock is the only one that falls away when unlocked. It is easy to install and prevents accidental opening for children and adults. Our exterior upright freezer tends to open or remain open, resulting in a total content loss. This system has prevented this from ever happening again. I gifted family members and friends this Safety 1st OutSmart Multi-Use Lock because I want them to get the right lock system.

I had previously purchased these to put on my refrigerator to keep my child from pulling all the food out of it. He then discovered that my deep freezer was a fun new toy he wanted to climb into. So I ordered more for the lid of the deep freezer. These work great! The fake button keeps him occupied while trying to figure out why he can't get it open himself. The fake button also worked well on keeping the husband and the oldest out of the fridge lol. I had to show them how it worked. 10/10 would recommend!

I bought these as a replacement for the same model, which I purchased four years ago. The latch, which I used on my refrigerator door, finally gave out. Considering that out refrigerator gets opened and closed at least ten times per day, that's about 15,000 latchings and unlatchings before it finally broke.This works best when the two pieces are mounted "around a corner from each other". I tried putting one on my pantry door, with one end attached to the door and the other end attached across the trim, on the wall. That didn't hold well at all.Hints -1. The end that's attached to the strap is on a swivel, and will drop down and away from the door when unlatched. This is a great feature. Make sure you have room for it to fall and dangle freely.2. The adhesive is very strong. Make sure you have it lined up where you want it before sticking it on. You won't get a second chance.

I’ve had one on my pantry for 2 years and no issues so I bought 2 more for the fridge and freezer. I absolutely love these!!! It’s a life saver! Just get it!

I love this lock, the only drawback is that my child can't figure out the lock, but can pull on it and it will come off the fridge... it does what we bought it for, keeps the door closed so that it doesn't open by mistake and we get frost in all the food. But... if you want this for child proofing, I wouldn't suggest it for a moderately strong child if they can reach it in any way. I've had to reattach ours three times in the two weeks we've been using it.

Very easy to install and open. So far it is 3 for 3 in preventing adults from opening it.

I needed this to keep my 2.5 year old granddaughter out of my fridge. It’s nice and strong, but she has already figured out how to open it! No idea how as I thought this was a good lock. I do like it though. Better for younger kids maybe?

I recently discovered that my cat has figured out how to pop open the door of my freezer, and that it doesn't always close again completely on its own. I looked at a couple different child locks and liked this design best. It's easy to open and close with one hand if you know how, clicks back into place securely and most importantly, has kept my idiot fur child out of the freezer.Super fast to install, great for keeping cats - and kids, I assume - out of places they shouldn't be as it takes a bit of dexterity and some strength to open. Excellent price too as compared to any I saw in stores in my area.

Great way to ensure that the door of our sometimes overstuffed vertical freezer does not ‘accidentally’ pop open. Keeping kids out is the bonus.Good quality materials and build.
