Quite bright when they switch on high, motion sensor does work and switches them from low lever to high level when sensing motion.They look good from a distance but the plastic feels kind of cheap (good thing don't have to handle them except when installing...). Remains to be seen how weatherproof they are...Placed them all in the same spot for testing, there is a 20 min delay between the first one going off on sunset ant the last one (bought eight of them). Also, three of them flicker for a couple of minutes before the light goes solid on - so the light sensor is not very good quality...Don't know yet how long the battery lasts into the night - I'll test next weekend and maybe come back and update the review.

This are amazingly bright and very sensitive. In fact, we put one up by the glass sliding door and had to move it because it was picking up movement inside the house and turning on. My only concern is that out of four units, one has stopped working. That's a 25% failure rate. I would like to order more; however, I'm a little leery. Have ordered other brands on Amazon and, while I don't think they're as bright as these, they have been working flawlessly for over a year. All in all, we like these lights.

Honestly, these lights are great. Hold charge well, but the only issue is they are too bright. Having moved from 1st gen solar technology, these are like little floodlights so not right for accent lighting and where I was going to replace 4 deck lights for steps, I can now use one of these. These lights are great, came as advertised and price was right. Just need to find more appropriate uses for them where the bright LED will not blind people. I would give 5 stars if there was a dim mode

We bought 8 of these lights for the interior of our front yard fence. They fit perfectly on a standard fence post (3.25" wide). We wanted to increase visibility in our large front yard. These lights did the trick. They were easy to install - I installed 8 in under an hour. All you need is a power drill, a tape measurer, a leveler and you're good to go. These lights are solar powered, so you don't have to worry about battery replacement.They put out an adequate amount of light in their automatic setting. When they sense motion, that light intensity gets much brighter. We will likely buy four more to complete the fenceline. This was a great, cost-effective way to bump up our home security. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to do the same.

Installation is somewhat tedious, You need to get the screws at exactly the right depth, And even then someone could remove them by simply pulling them up!, I wish they had a simple screw hole in the front for added strength and security, I solved the problem by putting two extra screws on the top and bottom so they could not be moved up or down, Other than that the lights work great...

bought for back deck, west facing. worked fine for a month or so. now all four are totally dead, not even a glimmer of light. no rain or cloudy days, all bright sun.8/17 update.....vendor has contacted me, offered a replacement. arrived today. hope these work better. love the lights but better when they are working.

Two of the lights work very well and two do not. The two that are bad don't seem to charge nearly as well as the others. They are very near each other and get exactly the same amount of sun, so that's not the issue. I'd like to replace the two that don't work well, but don't want to go to the trouble of replacing all of them.Update: The seller replaced the lights that were not working well and even sent an extra for the trouble. The new lights work fine and I'm very pleased with the great customer service.

The lights that work are very good. Unfortunately, one of the four lights was DOA. There was not an option to ask for a single replacement and, since I really like the lights, my only option was to return and reorder. Wouldn't it just figure, the price had increased by $5.00. With a coupon, it still costed me an extra dollar. This just ain't right. My review would have been 5 stars if only all four of the lights had worked. As for the replacement policy, 1 star.
