This is a life saver!! So easy to use, simple steps, makes a bottle within minutes and is right temperature to feed baby straight away. No waiting round like you would for a kettle. Midwife's and hospitals don't advise them they advise the kettle method as with the prep machine you put the powder in first, then a hot shot to sterilise the milk powder, then the cool water. No wait time to feed, especially ideal throughout the night for feeds when exhausted and baby is hungry. Easy to set up, easy to use, easy to change filter (which doesn't need to be done regularly only every couple months), easy to clean through, easy to descale. Easy machine which saves time. This is a lifesaver! We had the older version of this item but chose to update it for our newborn, this new version has a light up console for use at night that allows you to use it without needing to turn on the light and the beeping can also be muted at night so as not to wake up or disturb anyone. This is absolutely one of the best baby devices ever! Kills germs in the baby powder or the bottle with the initial burst of hot water and then measures out exactly to the right temperature the amount of water selected. You can change the number of ounces dispensed and it's fast and makes a perfect ready to drink formula bottle in under a minute.

I bought this to put up in the nursery to use for night feeds. This is an essential bit of kit, expensive but worth it. I turn the sounds off but due to it heating the water it isn’t silent when making the bottle. This has saved me doing countless trips up and down the stairs during night feeds whilst already dealing with a screaming baby. It is very easy to use and remembers the setting so it is just a case of pushing the button for the water to start filling. Due to using it for night feeds I find the light a brilliant addition as I don’t have a lamp in the room and am able to use this to get the formula and bottle ready as well as using it to see around the room without it waking up the baby

As new parents, we were excited to save time making bottles and decided to purchase this product. Unfortunately, we made the mistake of judging it by its cover and didn't read all the details. While this may not be the case for everyone, it made our baby very unwell, so we ended up returning it and getting a refund. We spent weeks trying to figure out why our little one was fussy during and after feeds, appearing unhappy and experiencing discomfort like wind, tummy upsets, and aches. Initially, we thought it was colic. However, we discovered that the measurements were significantly off when we selected 4oz (120ml), with the actual amounts being close to 4 1/2 oz (140ml). Moreover, the amount of water seemed to increase over time, contrary to the recommended range of only 5% deviation from the actual measurements according to Tommee Tippee. We tried deep cleaning and other methods, but nothing changed. Finally, we took a break and returned to the traditional pre-made/kettle method, and within a couple of days, we noticed a remarkable difference in our baby's mood. It's been almost 5 days now, and she smiles a lot more, feeds happily, and there's no struggle to consume formula. Her overall mood has improved significantly. Later on, we discovered that the NHS and Food Standards Agency had raised concerns about this product. Again, this may not be the case for everyone, but if you're puzzled about why your newborn seems unhappy, distressed, or agitated, I suggest discontinuing the use of this product for a couple of days to see if it makes a difference. it's hard work making a bottle the kettle way but i'd rather do that than make my baby unwell.

I know a lot of people will be put off by the price and have to consider whether ‘it’s worth it’. We’ve recently welcomed our second child and didn’t have a prep machine with our first born and it really has proved to be a game changer this time around. Especially when you’re enduring the delight that is the night feed. You can quickly whip up a bottle at a ready to serve temperature that is safe for your baby to drink. I spent countless hours in the middle of the night with our first child following the traditional method of boiling the kettle, mixing up a bottle, running it under cold water / leaving it in a jug of cold water to cool down. Then having to splash it on my own arm to test for temperature and then finding it was either still too hot or i’d let it cool down too much. All that with a baby screaming the house down waiting for a feed. All that hassle and rigmarole can be avoided with this product. I genuinely appreciate that times are hard financially for a lot of people at the moment but if you have the money to spare or have a relative or loved one who wants to buy you a present to welcome in your new arrival I really would urge you to consider getting this product. Of all the purchases i’ve made for our new arrival I can safely say that this is hands down the best money i’ve spent.

The filter that comes with the machine is not a tommee tippee filter it's come from a company called water drop. The tommee tippee filters are to wide for the water to pass through. Otherwise it's a great product

An expensive but game changing bit of kit, worth every penny. No messing around with kettles and cooling bottles down, bottle is made in a couple of minutes. The instructions are idiot proof and the screen tells you what to do at every step. If you take too long the machine will turn off though, so don’t try to do anything else at the same time! The day and night thing is a bit of a gimmick though - most people would keep this in the kitchen so it doesn’t really matter if it’s a bit noisy (which it is). The light is nice but not really necessary. Easy to run a cleaning cycle, all you do is fill it with boiling water and follow the on screen instructions. The machine will tell you when to descale and change the filter. We’ve had the machine for about 8 weeks and haven’t had that message yet. Some reviews have mentioned babies getting tummy problems, we have not experienced this. The hot shot is definitely hot enough on our machine. Honestly if you’re on the fence just get it, it’s really worth the money if you’re bottle feeding.
