My brother bought me this book years ago. It is an amazing read and everyone can find something that relates to them personally in this book. It is in the top 10 books to read and enjoy... which you will!

This is almost unreadable because the formatting of this play is not carefully planned for the Kindle. The name of the character speaking should be in CAPS, to distinguish it from the spoken words -- and should not be indented. The indentation of the character name means that a longer speech spills over and is non-indented. To confuse the reader further, some longer speeches have sentences on separate indented lines.

This is a great piece of writing which still has resonance and relevance today,dealing,as it does,with aspiration and greed and folly.

I'm not sure what the value of this book is for the average student studying it for A levels or degree, it has no explanatory notes or any commentary whatsoever alongside the text.The list of academic papers can be accessed using GoogleWould not recommend.

The other day I was sitting looking at a table on a train in a certain psychological condition. Sometimes when that happens I see great patterns and designs in red. But this time I saw two alternatives - either great patterns and design or graffiti. Both alternatives seemed to exist concurrently - or at least seemed to be able to switch from one to another slightly at will. Neither seemed particularly more true than the other but an alternative did seem to exist.

The formatting of the kindle edition is terrible. There are no line breaks between dialogue so the whole play reads as one long paragraph.
