This laser engraver has to be one of the best on the market. I did some research and was greatly inclined to buy this version rather than the entry version. I have now used this engraver for a while and found it to make clean cuts in wood as well as great scoring and engraving. This unit is rather large and takes up quite a bit of space but if you have the space I would highly recommend this product. I ordered extra accessories for this unit as well and everything install very easily.

I conducted extensive research before selecting the Xtool S1 40W laser engraving machine, and I am delighted with my decision. As a first-time laser owner, I anticipated a steep learning curve during the setup process; however, with the assistance of my husband, we were able to assemble the machine in under an hour.The S1 is constructed with high-quality, durable materials that reflect its solid build. It's important to note that due to its size, a larger table is required, and adequate space must be allocated for the vent hose.This purchase has proven to be one of the best investments I've made. The accuracy and speed of the S1 are truly impressive, making it an invaluable addition to my workspace. I highly recommend this machine to anyone looking to enhance their crafting or engraving projects.

The xTool S1 is a work of art! It's stunning to look at and even more amazing to use! I do wish I would have got the 40W model though. That's something I'll have to save for to hopefully get in the future. But back to this 10W version, everything from the design of the machine to the software has made me want to get more into engraving and cutting! This thing is fantastic! You'll love their software too! I've tried other laser brands and after getting the xTool S1 I'm NEVER going back to another brand!

I absolutely love this thing. With everything I've thrown at it so far, it has "just worked" with default settings out-of-the-box. It seems very well designed and I love having the auto-focus system built-in. The alignment system is amazing. Sure, it may not have a built-camera like some companies have started adding, but if you look at the reviews, this very clever and quick alignment system is yet another thing that "just works"—it's easy to use and can be more precise than some of the camera systems I have seen.Make sure you use the included exhaust duct to route the fumes out the window unless you are using it in a fully open garage or something. And if you are doing more heavy cutting than engraving, I would recommend getting the add-on higher-power inline duct fan for added exhaust power.I think this system is awesome for first-time laser users and experts alike. It is powerful, precise, and has an extensive add-on ecosystem for doing even more with it—you can even swap out the laser module for other kinds of projects. Rarely am I this pleased with a product this quickly. I can't recommend it enough.
