5 star is for the vendor only ! Zero star for product!
The media could not be loaded. I had issues with the product not working. I sent a message to the vendor and immediately took care of the problem and refund. The vendor, as a courtesy for the problem sent a replacement, but I have not tested the product yet.So five stars for resolving the issues!Update: Sorry, but it's just not working!

Good replacement for Healthy Living HL-7
Much better price than the OEM replacement ozone generators sold by the various spa parts companies. I'm not entirely convinced that an ozone generator makes much of a difference, especially in a spa like ours that doesn't have a 24/7 circulation pump. However, for the price it really is a no-brainer.This was a 15-minute installation in our Healthy Living HL-7 hot tub.

Make certain the unit is mounted and maintained properly!
These units usually only last about 1 year of constant use . My issue is that the directions say to mount the unit above the waterline. That would mean that when my spa is filled to the correct level, there is only about 3 inches of “freeboard”. This means that the unit would need to be mounted somewhere on the outside surface of the edge of the spa. That is ridiculous and impossible as it would not allow the cover to seat properly and also would simply be an accident waiting to happen (being knocked over by anyone in the vicinity. So, I guess a compromise must be made by making certain that a one way valve is installed on the output side to stop water from back flowing into the unit and damaging it forever! It is a weak pump, so it must not have a column of water to have to push through thereby overworking/overheating and damaging the unit!

HCD-55 doesn't produce ozone.
Ordered the HCD-55 as a replacement ozone generator for my hot tub. It did not produce any ozone light comes on nothing happens. So I thought i received a defective one so i requested a replacement. The replacement did the same thing. the light comes on but nothing happens. After looking at this unit it runs on normal 120/240 volt connections so all your hot tub controller does is turn it on or off. So I know it was on and working based on the light. I did test a little further by using a 4amp female connector so I could plug it in separate from the hot tub controller and it did the same thing. If you look at where the ozone exit is there is an intake right next to it and it is in the same little box as the exit so i am not sure if this thing could ever actually work. Both the intake and exhaust are in the same place even if it actually produced any ozone, it would take the lease path of resistance go out the intake.I would not suggest purchasing the HCD-55 based on my experience.

Well equipped
This is probably larger than what you currently have but easy to adapt. Plugged right in and had plenty of ties and fittings. Keep the spa very clean.

Venturi matters
Water came up to the check valve and never moved. No pressure or air of any sort is being pushed through the hose. Apparently they have an issue with the venturi from various manufacturers but their customer service was very good!
