Thought this would be the perfect solution until it rained and my mail got wet. There is rubberizing near the hinges which l suspect is to stop water leaking from the hinges but it seems to flow over this rubber. I have replaced it with the same but with a higher profile hoping that this might work.Very disappointing as initially l thought it was ideal and it was not inexpensive!

Most modern/geometric mailboxes are ridiculously overpriced on Amazon, so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw this one for less than $40. The build quality feels great and it was super easy to install. The locking mechanism is super simple and easy. Has been outside in the direct sun and rain for months and still looks brand new.

For some reason the drill bit that they recommended on the instruction wasn't the right fit but maybe that's just me so I ended up using my own screws. Not a problem, all worked out. It's only been over a month but the product is holding pretty well under the sun and rain. Love the overall look and fits a lot of mails in different sizes plus having a compartment for newspapers, mags, etc...at the bottom is a nice addition.

I needed a locking box for outside my office where people could drop things that would be secure. This installed easily to the wall, it's large enough for full-size sheets of paper or mail and I love the cover on the top. The lock works very well. Would recommend.

Great product - I drilled holes in the bottom of mine and mounted with serious "L" brackets and supports behind and below. Holes for any water that did get inside from the top - it does have weatherstripping and as long as the top is DOWN, rain won't be a problem.Bigger items will have a problem getting into the top, but you knew that when buying this thing. Works fine in every other area and was installed within 15 minutes. I just used metal tappers and lag bolts with washers to mount on the inside.Let's see my EX try and steal my mail. First cameras and security lights...now security box (with a camera aimed right at it), document scanning equipment and a whiskey helps keep reality more stable now.
