Absolutely fantastic - why is it not given more coverage at Christmas?!?
This is such a hilarious and incredible collection of festive fun. I watched this each Christmas as a child in the 90s and 00s. I don’t understand why it is not available anywhere to stream or to buy on DVD. It pains me that it is not more accessible and available to the world. For now, we whip out the VHS player and continue to watch each year.

The toons at Christmas
I used to really treasure this video when I was a child, and would love to see this 1991 festive shorts compilation released onto DVD in it's entirety with the original running order of episodes. Although all of the classic cartoons on the tape have a Christmas theme, I'd watch it regardless of the season with my brother. I loved the zany antics of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and the rest of the 'Looney Tunes' gang them, and I have no shame in revealing that at 24, I still love them now.'Christmas Looney Tunes' features all of the major Warner Bros characters in this timeless series of cartoon shorts. The first feature is 'Bugs Bunny's Christmas Carol', a feature length treat originally broadcast on America's CBS network on November 1979. This 22 minutes of festive fun (which may be purchased on DVD here: Bugs Bunny - Looney Tunes Christmas [DVD] [2010 ]) was directed by the legendary Friz Freleng (1906-1995), and scripted by the wonderful genius Chuck Jones (1912-2002). The equally famous Mel Blanc (1908-1989), and June Foray (still alive today aged 99!) provided the voices, and all of this ensured that the good old-fashioned 'Looney Tunes' magic was there. It's cute parody of 'A Christmas Carol', and in true 'Looney Tunes' style, it stars Bugs who takes on the roles of the three ghosts, Porky Pig as Bob Cratchit, and, predictably, Yosemite Sam as the nasty Ebenezer Scrooge. The other shorts are the classics from that golden age of Warner Bros Studios animation. 'Gift Wrapped' (1952) features Sylvester, Tweety and Granny in the home setting, as well as 'Snow Business' which follows it. 'Snow Business' (1966) is a later cartoon which pairs up Speedy Gonzales with Daffy Duck, and 'Weasel While You Work' (1958) finds Foghorn Leghorn, at loggerheads with a weasel. The final three are a trilogy of Daffy Duck classics, 'Cracked Quack' (1952) where he co-stars with Porky Pig, 'The Iceman Ducketh' (1964) which finds him once again rivalling (and losing to) Bugs Bunny, and 'Riff Raffy Daffy' (1948), one of the funniest Daffy verses Porky shorts. At 60 minutes in length, the 'Christmas Looney Tunes' video is just the right length of holding the attention of the young ones, but not leaving them wanting more. As many of these cartoons are still awaiting a DVD release (note to Warner Bros, it's time for some more box sets, and in region two please!), this video tape (providing you still have something to place it on) is still a treasure trove for hardcore 'Looney Tunes' collectors.
