I upgraded my son's stock RC servo on his crawler after taking a tumble and destroying the gears on his stock servo. While I'm not sure it's not on the same level as servos 4x the price and power but for him, it was absolutely fine. It's not the fastest thing in the world but just fine at its price point. The same goes with the power. It's an absolutely fine upgrade to the stock servo without breaking the bank while getting a fair upgrade at the same time.

I'll start by stating that there is certainly a use case for servos of this quality. At $20, there are better options, the question is...do you need a better option. This isn't a garbage servo but it isn't a servo I would rely on in competition.If your aim is to get a cheap servo into a cheap RC or a beginner RC or a kid's RC, this isn't the worst option.There is a bit of play in the gears. Definitely not a solid-as-a-rock servo. I wouldn't put this servo in my best RC but would have no problem putting it into a basher or a high abuse situation of little consequence. That said, I feel pretty good about my purchase.
