Cheap and worked fine so far
My Mercedes fuel cap tether broke a year ago and when I recently refilled, I forgot to put the fuel cap on; and it dropped off somewhere. I was concerned about ordering a non-OEM item on my Mercedes, but there was a $32 difference. I thought I would try it. It fit perfectly. I haven't seen a yellow CEL so far. The tether is plastic and not rubber, but rotten rubber was the cause of the original break. I also was getting a code P0455 and, so far, that has not returned.

Replacement gas cap
At first, I didn’t think replacement gas cap fit my car but fit was just very tight. After putting it on and off a few times, fit improved.
