HI-TEC Men's Squash and Badminton Fitness Shoes

If you are looking for an extremely comfortable, and good looking pair of sneakers these are for you. They are an indoor Squash-gym type sneaker, not really meant for outdoor usage, but that's how I use them. I was looking for this style of sneaker, gummy soles, and all white, so I got them. I haven't had them long enough to comment on their durability, but for what I wanted in a sneaker, which is an extremely comfortable ( like an old pair of slippers), and the style, I made the right choice! They are well made, and have plenty of padding on the inside, along with a grey suede trim on all the high stress points. The gummy soles look very cool, and provide plenty of traction even in wet weather. I really like these, and am seriously considering buying a second pair. The fit was a little snug for my size 9 foot, but they have broken in, and stretched nicely, so they fit very well. I highly recommend these sneaks, and plan to come back and add to this review, if and when needed.

These have been my go to everyday trainers for literally decades...and I used to get a pair whenever I visited the UK. For some reason it never occurred to me to buy shoes online when I know exactly how they are going to fit!

Have used these for years but they are now impossible to find in Canada. I end up buying them from Europe or USA which adds a huge shipping cost. I would prefer to buy from a Canadian supplier. I don't think these are being manufactured by Hi-Tec at least you can not find them on their site. Can someone let me know if another company is manufacturing these in 2021? On the shoe-front, this was an excellent product when Hi-Tec made them. My opinion as to longevity is out until I have worn them for awhile,

I've loved these shoes for years - while I'd not wear them for sports, they are incredibly comfortable and I can hike for miles in them. Amazon suggested delivery would be 2-3 weeks since they were coming from the UK, but they arrived in about a week. I'm delighted with them and the service from this company.

I needed shoes for squash and found these online. Didn't know the shoes were shipped from UK. The brand is recommended for squash but this pair was sort of awkward. Little hard to put on without shoe horn and relatively tighter to wear. Not sure if it is only this pair or others would have the same problem. Size could be an issue. I have wear 9 USA size for dress shoes and should have ordered 9.5 USA for sports shoes like these.

Ordered these to replace the originals (made in Thailand) which have lasted more than 20 years with regular indoor wear. This new Model looks similar in photos but the quality is inferior, now made in China. This model also came up small in size. I was so disappointed I returned the product despite the postage being 50% of the value.

These are great shoes and cost only £20, a price that hasn't changed for about 10 years. They are light and provide good support but the heel does not press on the Achilles tendon too much. This is my second pair; my first pair have become too soft and one seam is tearing after about 10 years of weekly badminton. They appear a bit hard and stiff during the first few games. I change the insole for one which provides more shock absorbance and is slightly thicker than the one supplied. I find this gives me a more comfortable fit and less strain from impact. I think that having my heel raised slightly also reduces pressure on the Achilles. A good shoe and you can get the same for four times the price!
