I have a bad habit of removing the Gimbal protector cover and setting it on the ground before takeoff. It's a good practice to leave it until the last moment, but it's probably not a good idea to set it on the ground. After a few near misses with my feet, I decided I should purchase a spare.For all practical purposes, this unit is a near-perfect clone of the original—my compliments to the boys in the PRC who did the measuring.Fit: Snaps on/off with equal strength as the OEM. Once snapped on, it stays attached securely without any free play.Look: Clean molded plastic, and all edges are smooth. Optical clarity throughout the surface of the unit with no defects.Feel: Has the same apparent weight and thickness as the OEM.Overall: Acceptable to Very Good Replacement for the OEM, or in my case, as a spare unit. The ONLY disparity from the OEM is that the plastic tinting is a tiny bit shaded; that factor is negligible as the item is only intended to protect the unit in storage/transport.Attached: Photos - Corner View, Front View, Top View

The gimbal protector is an exact copy of the original. Same color, same shape and fits perfectly.

Not at all good. Got scratched on very first day.
