PRO-88 5.25" USB 3.1 Media Reader

It works ! For me the CF slot was the most important. It's been years since I have been able to find an internal card reader with a deep enough slot for the CF card. Have been using a USB plug in one - part of whose name says just what it is - "no bend pins", but silly me, I wanted an internal multi purpose one. This seems to be it. It's been a couple of months and no problems. I use it frequently. It installed as should and fits the front perfectly. Now for the Stoopid part - it connects via an external USB cable - you know, the type that plugs into a regular external USB 3 port. For me this was not an issue. My tower has ports in the rear to accommodate a cooling system, so it went thru there to the back and plugged into a USB 3 port in the back. If you don't have extra USB ports to use, you can always buy a PCI Express card that will give you USB ports out the back and some actually have an internal (external blue) plug. It DOES NOT come this cable and you need to supply your own. It is powered via a SATA power plug, not your standard MOLEX plug.

If you got a USB-C port in the back of your PC and want connectivity in the front.... this is it! Purchased for that reason & the fast SD card ports

Nice product and data moves from device to device quickly. Pick up a cable that connects directly to the motherboard if you have that port open. It is a little pricey though.

AFT expect you to hook this internal flash card reader to the USB 3.1 port on the back of your computer!

I use this daily for dumping memory cards from my Canon. It works perfect, every time, all the time. Highly recommend.

All ports and slots worked as described. Seems well built and fit perfectly.
