Why did you choose this product over others?:Wish I bought this ring light much earlier. This is my go-to light for most shoots - portraits, groups, selfies, videos, products… The light is diffuse and shadows are soft. I previously used the flat panels with soft boxes but they are less convenient to carry around, to set up and more difficult to get the desired effect. This light, its power unit and tripod fit conveniently in carrying case, which makes it easy to carry around. Very happy with this purchase.

On first impression, this ring light is far superior than my old one. The tripod base is solid, and easily packs away into the bottom of the carry bag.The dials make adjustments easy, and the ring light itself is very thin. The lowest brightness is more than adequate on a regular day, and in total it takes less than 3 minutes to set up.

The phone attachment arrived and the pin was so tightly screwed in that I couldn't unscrew it to slot it into the bracket. The light is very good and a good range of colour/brightness but the stand feels a little bit flimsy. Carry case is really handy. Arrived quickly.A good lamp but not quite worth the money that I spent on it

The media could not be loaded. I can't really fault this ring light - it's incredibly easy to set up, even for a novice, and the lighting levels and effects are fantastic. It's fantastic quality throughout and a good, sturdy, well-built piece of photography equipment.My teenage daughter makes and shares many cosplay pictures online and this has been a game changer for her, allowing her to take more professional looking pictures and videos with ease. I've also been using it for a spot of family photography and I'm blown away by how great my photos look :)The ring light is so easy to set up. As a novice, I was initially worried it might be a bit technical, but I had everything set up within minutes. It's just as easy to take apart and everything stores compactly in the large, sturdy carry bag (this features both hand and shoulder straps).The light can be extended to quite a large height and as the ring can be positioned at different angles, it makes it great for taking photos from above too.The range of lighting and different lighting effects for videos can be achieved easily via the app that connects via Bluetooth to the ring light. The app isn't essential for using the light, however it's a must if you want access to the full range of effects.The lighting can also be controlled manually via the 2 dials on the back - one controls the light level, whilst the other alters the lighting through various bright white levels to warmer tones. The lighting range goes from soft and dimly lit, to very (very) bright white lighting.The Bluetooth controller is great for taking selfie photos via the phones camera. It features one button control and is nicely responsive.The phone holder will happily hold a phone of all sizes - it turns to allow the phone to be positioned in either portrait or landscape position (or anything in-between), plus it bends to allow the phone to be held in the best position for your photo.There's standard positioning for regular SLR cameras too.Overall it's a fantastic piece of kit - the lighting range and effects are amazing, plus it's compact, easy to transport and extremely user friendly.

Oh my, I'm so impressed with this ring light. I've had a ring light in the past and the quality didn't come close to this one. This is a large piece of equipment and I would certainly class this as a professional set-up. It comes packaged perfectly so there's no danger of it getting damaged in transit. You get a padded bag to store it in that makes transportation a breeze.Setting it up was simple and I didn't need to refer to the instructions once. Everything feels top-quality and there is nothing flimsy about the tripod whatsoever. The phone holder grips your phone perfectly and you can achieve whatever angles you wish.The light has many different levels, the left dial controls the brightness levels and the right one allows you to change the tone/warmth of the light. It offers so much that you should be able to find the right ambience to capture the perfect photo or video. I have yet to download and use the app on this but so far I have just been using it manually. The shutter is fab too as it allows you to get your perfect angle before clicking to take the snap.As I said in my title, I absolutely love this ring light and would not hesitate to recommend this. If you create any digital content, this will not disappoint. Perfect!
