I ordered several air plants from The Drunken Gnome Plant and Crystal Company. All of the plants I ordered are absolutely beautiful and healthy. They were all packed with care and arrived safely. These air plants were packaged very well. I was very happy with how well they looked. within a few weeks I started seeing a blossom on the one in the blue hanger sprouting. I had never seen one of these air plants blossom before. It is gorgeous.Since moving to Florida this is one of the few plants I don't kill. The Florida weather takes care of the bushes outside for me. I'm trying to follow the direction for watering and fertilizer on these to keep them going a long time. The one in the pink is just starting to blossom, too. This was a great buy. The rest is up to me to keep them going.

This came quick looked ok due to shipping time we had very high temps. Bottom watered hung upside down to dry looked refresh. Have not had long enough to see.

Update 5/31/2022: Seller replaced my air plant. New one is vibrant & healthy!! Changed my rating & attached another photo to reflect this.________________Original Review: My plant does not look at all like the photo. It’s partially dead. I asked for a replacement but they said “the plant is doing well”. Very disappointed. Will try ordering from another company.

I was very impressed with the sturdiness and health of this air plant, and so far it is thriving very well. As a general rule I soak most of my air plants in a bucket of dechlorinator fertilized water for 1 hour then I shake them vigorously upside down and let them drain and dry upside down. This prevents rot. Through trial and error this is what finally works for me as opposed for all the misinformation I received on the internet. Misting air plants three times a week does not work unless you live in a humid tropical or subtropical region. Fuzzy air plants like Xenographica and Seleriana must be quickly submerged in water once a week then removed.

I am pretty disappointed. They are not large at all maybe a medium catagory. The bases are slightly shriveled and dry. The green color on tips are good but I am a bit worried because of the bases. The colors in the pictures are not there and I'm hoping they will mature into beautiful & bright plants.

They say every plant looks different. This one did not have a flower. Very difficult to grow and not forgiving if you miss waterings. Beautiful the first few months though.
