My son needs to sleep on something that is the texture of a stuffed animal. This was perfect! He loves it and it fits our need perfectly. We have the frog and the dinosaur. Both are very soft and cute. I also like that there is a plush piece to cover the scratchy velcro side when it is laid flat for use like a pillow.

I absolutely LOVE these pillows. SUPER comfortable and durable!

While not overly soft, it was not unpleasant to the touch either. It did have an odd chemical smell fresh out of the bag that took a few days to clear. So I would open it and let it air out before gifting it to anyone. But overall it is a good size, super cute, and my niece is super happy to have it.
