London English Lavender with Essential Oils Soap Bar, 4.25 oz Bar (Pack of 4)

It smells lovely. Not too intense. Just right. I haven't actually used it enough to comment on that, but I'm sure it will be very nice.

I was reading some reviews about this soap and I was very intrigued to try it being a body wash customer I was curious. I haven’t used soap bars in over 30 years!! I thought body wash was the best to use on my body but now I have changed my mind immensely. This Yardley lavender soap has really changed my shower habits to the point where I’m gonna stock up on this when it’s on sale next week. I purchased four bars to try but now I’m going to load up on it. The body wash leaves my skin kind of slippery and not really clean and I spend more time in the shower trying to get my skin non slippery! Now that I have used this product not only does it cut my shower time down to 10 minutes instead of 20 and my body feels so clean and it actually squeaks which makes me feel wonderful knowing that I am really clean!!! I highly recommend this soap for anyone to try it and see for themselves!!! This is much cheaper than body wash and I feel squeaky clean like fresh sheets LOL. I hope you give it a try…it’s worth it especially buying it next week August 24 through the 27th it’s a good deal!!!!

My mother and I have bought this soap now and then for many years. It hasn't changed at all (except for the price). The scent is strong but not overwhelming. It's a pretty bar and is full size - not dinky like decorative soaps can be. It doesn't dry my skin out. I love the lavender scent which is why we have kept buying it for years!

I chose this rating because the soap is great. I've always wanted to use it. I first encountered it at a restaurant that uses it in the bathrooms. It smells amazing. What I like: The scent of English Lavender is charming, to use a word. It smells divine, in my opinion. The cost of the soap is a good price. I purchased for trial. I like it very much. The soap seems very pure it melts easily. What I don't like: In light of melting, it does not last very long. I would say I use a bar a week (perhaps that is standard). Some other soaps I've used last about two weeks with the same daily bathing routine. It seems that the scent wears off quickly as it sits in the air. I suppose that it could be that I am accustomed to it. The soap leaves my skin dry but no more dry that other soaps. Would I recommend: I highly recommend this soap. But if you have very dry skin this may not be for you. If you love English Lavender then this is for you.

I always buy this soap, the smell and the te texture. I will always use it!!! If you like the lavender smell, you will love these soaps, and there are variety of fragrances, but I like particular this one.

Lathers well. Pleasant clean scent without being overpowering.

This is the soap of my teen years (long ago!). I like it for what it does -- it cleans me up nicely and smells great while showering. It's not perfume; the scent doesn't really last after I towel off (which is how I like it). I like the size of the bar. I haven't noticed a difference in my skin softness or dryness. I've also used the rather expensive L'Occitane En Provence lavender soap. I don't think there's much, if any, practical difference in the two brands other than price. I only purchase the Yardley soap if under $1.50 a bar.

well, Yardley is a great company. first of all let me say they make THE BEST Oatmeal and Almond bar of soap that is out there in the market. It even has little bits and pieces of real 100% natural oats in the bar. it's silky smooth, creamy, moisturizing, clean, refreshing, and smells great of oatmeal+almond. and that great scent stays on you for the rest of the day, which is an added bonus! their almond milk is almost as good too! but this is....just...."meh." first, i don't think this lavender Yardley even has any lavender in it. There is no mention of either lavender, or its scientific name-LAVANDULA ANGUSTIFOLIA-in the ingredients. second, the bar of soap isn't even blue-violet in color, it is biege/cream colored. not a good sign. it does smell of lavender, but it is most probably just its "fragrance." which may or may not be artificial. while trying to get lavender soap, i realized that 90% of soap out there on the market by different manufacturers don't have real+actual lavender in them, i concluded that the most likely reason is that real lavender is rare and expensive. but i am only assuming this, don't take my reason why as Fact. i really don't know why actual lavender from the lavender plant is so hard to come by in soaps. to summarize Yardley almond milk A+ Yardley oatmeal and almond A+++ Yardley lavender C+ if you want the smell of lavender in your soap, this one is just fine. if you want or need the antiseptic powers of the actual lavender flower/plant, get another soap. p.s. it may have real lavender particles in it, but if it does, it most likely has few of them.

I love this soap, I've been using it for years.

The service and delivery was good. The Yardley products that I ordered are for Christmas. A relative use to use the Yardley products a few years back but had difficulty finding them. When using these products my relative loved them and said no other Lavender product came close to Yardley. So, on behalf of my relative, she would give these products a FIVE STAR.

First rate bar of soap, love the smell of Lavender

Was disapointed . The Yardley version 2019 sure doesn’t smell like the « old » Days. Less lavender I suppose. They finished in my linen closet.
