If you’re anything like me you’re constantly looking for good CGM patches. I personally use the G7 and the overpatch that comes with it is awful. It starts lifting almost immediately and gets all gross. I’ve tried the expression med patches and they’re ok, they do lift too but they last considerably longer than the cheap ones you get with the Dexcom. I’ve also used a bunch of others I’ve gotten off amazon. I don’t like any of them the way I like these. These aren’t that gross papery material. They feel like swimsuit material if that makes sense.. but they’re amazing! They adhere to my skin so good and showering had no effect on it! It’s still gripping just as good as when I put it on! It’s a 10/10 for me. Get them!

I love these patches-very soft and easy on the skin and they will last an entire session without lifting. I prefer the darker colors and these are perfect. I will be ordering these again. They are also easy to apply.

These adhesive patches are far superior to the patches that come with the Dexcom Stelo devices. The dexcom patches do not ensure good adherence to the skin and they begin to look grungy in appearance after a few days wear. These patches, however, come in a multitude of fun colors/patterns and they adhere incredibly well. I’m convinced they’re the reason the stelo stayed on until it expired. Not to mention I had to purchase the unisolve wipes to remove the patch and its corresponding adhesive.

I purchased the Expressionmed and the Glucomart brands to compare. The 2 brands had similar designs. so to make it as fair as possible i purchased the stars/universe designs of both so they had similar color and design. I found that the expressionmed is a more papery patch. it is rougher and wrinkles once it gets wet and dries. The patch did stay the entire 10 days with some lifting on the outside as well as wrinkling near the CGM. I prepped my skin by washing with a mild soap and using alcohol on a cotton ball and allowed to air dry. i paired both patches with the "Deck my diabetes" Gripshield reusable CGM Armor Protection in the glow green color. as my arm is drying I peel off the backing of the patch in the inside leaving only the tails on each end, I insert the shield through the hole, inside to outside and lightly press the shield onto the patch. Once my CGM is inserted i first use the over patch in the Dexcom 7 box, then I can apply the CGM protective shield with the decorative over patch ensuring that my CGM is protected for the entire use. Glucomart is a silkier patch, I was worried about it initially but it conforms better to your skin and does not wrinkle like the ExpressionMed patches. I experienced no rashing, hives or breakouts with either patch and I have sensitive skin and a latex allergy. I swim a lot and preping my CGM the way i do has been very beneficial to staying on the entire 10 days without having to change patches. If you do need to change your over patch using the protective shield allows you to pull off the top over patch without jeopardizing the smaller over patch.All in all ExpressionMed patches get a 6/10 due to quality and functionThe Glucomart patches 10/10and the Gripshield Armor 10/10hope this helps.

I bought these for my g7 for 2 weeks in Hawaii. They work very well. I had no issues with them coming back off and they were still well stuck on day 10. This held up to walking and swimming almost daily while in HI.Now that I've been home a bit, I remember how much I dislike the g7 over patch that comes with it. Always tacky enough to pull fuzz from shirts and so it starts looking dirty and gross by day 2. By day 10 it looks so nasty and the edges are peeling. I've finally decided to just go back to using these. I do wear my cgm on my upper abdomen and like to show it to people who are fascinated or interested but not when I'm using the original sticky overpatch. Now I won't feel like the integrity of my shirts will start getting questionable either.I also own a hot tub. I only keep it set to mid-upper 90s so I can stay in it for hours. This over patch stays stuck.

So far this is my favorite overpatch brand. The designs are very cute and vibrant. They don't get soggy after a shower, and they stay adhered far better for the 10 days than other patches I've tried. I'd love to have matching stickers to go over the sensor!
