Texsport 2 Person Brookwood Backpacking Camping Tent with Carry Storage Bag

I used this tent for two years before it finally fell apart, and I was hard on it. It came with me on close to a dozen long camping trips in all kinds of weather. It is a snap to set up, which I really loved. It is small so it's best for kids or one smallish person. It has no rain fly to speak of so I always had a tarp with me. Once it rained on us for 24 hours straight and with a tarp I stayed dry. I've also used it in temps close to freezing and was fairly warm. During one trip a good sized animal ran into the tent and halfway fell on it (with me inside) and the only damage was a small hole and scratch marks. Overall it's a pretty tough tent for the price and I loved it!

Delivery was very good, on time and well packaged. The materials are lightweight, compact and the tent construction is well made. Setup of the tent is just a few minutes and straightforward. However, at 6’1” only I fit in the tent laying diagonally leaving no room for a second adult. My two children, middle school aged, fit in the tent comfortably. For the price, this is a great value and I recommend the tent with the understanding that it will really only fit one adult at or vey near 6’ in height.

When I looked at the dimensions listed, I figured it would be ample size for me and my son to use on our camping trip. It is mostly made for 2 children, no more than that. I was extremely cramped and uncomfortable getting in, getting out, and even sleeping in this Tent. It should be listed as a kid's tent, not a two person tent.

I bought this tent knowing that it was a small tent but when I got it and set it up it turns out it was way smaller than I thought, I could not sleep in it because It was too short. Also the poles being internal makes it a pain to set up

This tent will provide enough sleeping space for one short adult in a sleeping bag, maybe two young kids in sleeping bags. It is very small. I wish I had seen the reviews before I bought this tent, the description on Amazon is misleading. I have two other two person tents, and when I saw a tent listed as a two person tent, I imagined it would be a similar size. Very disappointed.As well, the internal frame makes it more difficult to put up, and I fail to see any benefit to it.

I do alot of out doors 4x4 and camping. Alot of the times it is just myself or myself and my wife. This tent is great. Quick to set up, rain resistant and a great price. I recomend this tent to anyone who is just a hiker or camper... It is small and conpact and can fit vertually anywhere, even in a large hiking backpack.To Amazon,Thanks for this great product.

Bought this for my very short son to use for outdoor camping. He is able to put it up himself pretty well and slept in the yard in it for several nights so far. The internal poles are not that difficult to deal with. (And hopefully mean that other kids can't steal his poles and flatten his tent in the night.) It did rain one night and water seeped through the seams. I have bought some seam sealer which will hopefully help with that. I would have preferred a full size rain fly, but I can't complain for a tent that cost less than $30.Overall I am happy with the purchase. He will be able to take it on camping trips and put it up by himself. It would not fit a full size adult, but luckily we are all really short (less than 5 feet).

We purchased this tent for my 6 year old. We use it for sleep overs and hotel stays, he stays cootie free when he sleeps, and he loves having his own tent. The carrying case is small enough to pack in a suitcase. I like having the interior tent poles because we do not need to use the stakes to keep it upright. It literally takes less than 5 minutes to set up.This would be a good backpack tent in mild weather. I am 5'5" and almost touch the opposite end when lying down. I much taller person could fit lying corner to corner, but then it would be considered a one-man tent. I could probably sleep in the tent with my child, but I would not sleep with another adult, being claustrophobic, it would be way too crowded, especially if you had camping gear.The first tent arrived with a tear in the window mesh, I promptly contacted Amazon, and a replacement was sent with zero problems with the replacement tent.
