Traxxas TRX-4M 4X4 Crawler with Land Rover Defender Body

I purchased this for my son for Christmas. He loves all things Traxxas. This RC Land Rover has a lot of spunk and is made well. He loves it and is happy it’s part of his growing collection.

This my first traxxas rc it is great. exceeded all my expectations very capable plenty of power drove over all the terrains i put it thru, good quality well made. Very happy with this unit definitely worth it fast shipping

This TRX-4M is a quality RC 4WD torque monster! Not to mention it not only crawls but it muds too! Drove it through a 3” mud hole and it bogged a bit but pulled right through it! I have purchased the larger TRX-4 in this Land Rover model and I’m hoping it’ll be just as good! First off performance is exceptional it has plenty of power to do what you need to do my plan for this unit is to turn it into a FPV inspection tool not sure how I’m going to do it yet but hopefully I’ll figure it. The value is decent I mean you get decent performance, appearance, and power as it is stock however you can upgrade this thing which is amazing. Lastly what I don’t like about it. This is why I only give it 4 stars and I must mention it’s not a deal breaker at least for me. 1. The charge time is extremely long it took about 2-1/2 hours to completely charge it from out of the box. Hopefully it won’t take long in future charges. 2. You have to use a proprietary charger it must be 5V 2A if not it will not charge and Traxxas does not include a wall adapter something that should be included since the Lipo is so sensitive to voltage input. Also it is USB-A not today’s standard which is a bit of a bummer as well. 3. This one could be a deal breaker especially if you use it for its intended purposes the thing is top heavy if you hit a hill quickly it will turn over also the suspension is a bit soft I noticed on some excursions the suspension bottomed out quite a bit which isn’t really a problem since I’m not sitting it but still it rubs when it bottoms out. Overall this for me will make a great tool for inspecting crawl spaces once I can figure out how to outfit it with a camera. If you’re serious about crawling and missing with one of these RC cars I’d go with the TRX-4 it’s much more capable and has a lot more features to offer.

petit 4*4 genial de quoi s amuser des apres-midi entiere bonne autonomie de la batterie mais avec une deuxieme c est mieux je pense qu'une boite a 2 vitesses serais super genial mais pour le prix on ne peut pas tout avoir une telecommande 4 cannaux serais la bien venue pour commander l eclairage sinon je le recommande

Espectacular coche de RC y muy divertido

Prodotto perfetto per andare in giro a divertirsi con questo genere di auto. Mi piace molto perchè va sulla sabbia e mantiene la sua potenza anche sulle cunette della spiaggia! Facile da manovrare e la batteria dura moltissimo. Nicolò (11 anni)
