An unexpected pleasure
I came across this obscure writer as she had once, briefly, lived in the very house where we live in Bristol, not a good reason to read an autobiography maybe. Despite this, I was fascinated by this very readable account of someone else's pyschological and spiritual journey through life during the first half of the twentieth century. I found it to be a painfully honest and sincere effort to describe one's own life, and quest for a spiritual home. The descriptions of her three visions are especially vivid. Challenging and readable, definitely worth sticking at whether you are 'religious' or not!

Missing Text
The book begins at page 16 and is missing the first two chapters. Very disappointing.
