This is a 49' snake and I had a hard time finding them without going into the commercial sized machines. It hooked up to my power drill and I was able to snake through my plumbing system to break the clog. I had a similar tool from a big box store that was only 25' and it did not reach. This snake's has a 4 inch flexible tip that made it so easy to get around the bends in the drain. The snake from lowes only had a 1inch tip and it would jam up and you needed the drill to turn it through every one and then it didn't reach the problem area. My only concern is the 1/4inch line is stored into a metal container not sure what kind of metal it is not aluminium so if you don't clean and dry the line when you store it you may have rust issues. All in all for the price this is a great 49 foot snake.

Had a 25 footer that couldn't reach to clear the lineI had an 1 1/8" kitchen sink drain lineWas cooking grease clogged. After using enzymes for a couple of day wasn't much better.With this 50 footer and my cordless drill I was able to pass this size snake pass multiple 90° elbows and reached to the larger 2 1/2 " drain line. It was easy to handle and the ability to feed the snake with the drill attach went well. After the first pass and removing the snake the end was filled with while cooking grease that should never been put down any drain.Quickly I add 16 Oz of enzyme and water mix into the line and commenced routing out a path for enzymes to mix with the grease and,start converting solid grease to a thick liquid. After15 minute I let it rest . I had some flow so let it stand several hour added more enzymes let it set overnight.BTW I knew the,snake alone wouldn't clear the line . Had it been more solids the tool would do the job.The next day after getting several feet of snake in the line I put the garden hose in the clean out and turned the water and,ran the,snake. Water backed up and I cycled the,snake forward and back once there was a good punch through and,the water was draining I knew the enzymes where doing their thing. With a,reasonable flow I left the snake I place added more enzyme solution and let it work. 4hours later I ran the snake and you could feel it rubbing the pipe. After flushing the line again with the garden hose for 20 minutes. I was confident this tool was worth the price.Long story for sure hope it helps.

I used this to clear a drain, cleaned it and put it away in the garage until the next drain clog. 3 months later I got it back out so it could do its job again and the cable was fully rusted. It still worked, but the entire drum was full of rust powder and the cable was covered in it.I'm not sure if it is the cable rusting or the drum, but either way this device isn't going to last very long as something that cleans drains will get wet.It also has doubled in price since I bought it in December 2022.

This works great, unclogged my kitchen and main sewage line. Manual labor sucks with cranking nob , but thank God for drill adapter. I recommend if your on a low budget like me. The 50ft was just right 👍
