Never was able to use their products as advertised.
Purchased this phone from Amazon and service from Jethro. Service would not work with phone, 3G. Jethro upgraded this phone model in May with a newer model, SC 490 for an extra fee of $35.00. This phone would not perform the panic function as advertised. On 7-30-2021 Ben from Jethro stated that it needed another firmaware, and that it was not available at that time. He said they would honor a return if I couldn't wait. They agreed to issue a $35.00 credit when I returned the 490. But they will not credit me for the SC330V and advised that I notify Amazon. So I trusted them, spent about $150.00 and never did get to use either of the phones or their service. Please advise. Thank you. Tim Gordon

I’m happy he has a phone that he can see the ...
My grandad loves his new phone. The only problem he’s having is that his finger turns the volume down whenever he’s on the phone. So when I call him next time, he can’t hear the phone. Not sure if that’s his problem or the way they made the phone. Either way, I’m happy he has a phone that he can see the buttons to and his opinion of the phone at 89 years old is “the phone is sophisticated”

Good physical design but not as functional as intended
Purchased for senior citizen and the large buttons and physical design of the phone suit her needs. However, the network service stops periodically: the phone changes to 2G though we have a 3G AT&T standard SIM and requires restarting the phone to get 3G service back. The battery life is also very short. I charged the phone over 12 hours as recommended before first use but it never fully charged and the battery drains within one day of little to no use.

Doesn’t work
I have used Jethro in the past for my grandma with T-Mobile, when I got this phone and put in the SIM card it didn’t work, it wasn’t reading the card. I thought maybe the SIM card was bad so I bought a new sim and it still didn’t work, I don’t know if I just got a defective one or Jethro doesn’t work with T-Mobile anymore

Great phone for seniors
We purchased this phone for our Mom who seems to like it. Phone is easy to setup and use.

Great simple flip phone.
The flip phone picks up the cell tower signals! Simple, yet strong signal, microphone, and speaker.

No carrier would activate phone.
Unable to find a carrier who would activate this Jethro phone. T-Mobile was one of the carriers listed in the ad to activate with...they don’t. Went with a higher quality, less expensive Cricket phone instead.

It is ok
Lasted a little less than one year. Was for an older person and this is really the only option. I wouldn't believe other reviews as the company offers money to people who send screenshots of positive reviews to them (they sent me that offer anyway). It's pretty easy to use but setup can be a little challenging if importing sim contacts.
