Great practice tool, amazing price.
Great tool to practice with. I can run it through an AC15C1 and it sounds even more like a vox then it already does. Love the marshall sounds as well. Turns my Vox into a marshall. I am using the black box with with a klon clone and it responds great. Touch sensitivity feels like a real amp. I can run it through my fishman acoustic amp and it still sounds like I am playing through real amps. Can't go wrong for what I paid. Only issue I experienced so far is the delay will has sometimes caused a severe signal lag when engaged. Just restarted and the issue was resolved but it has happened on multiple occasions. In summary, it is fun to play and I can get really nice clean and gain sounds that mimic real amps, and they all have a master volume for quiet playing and no loss of tone!

Great little pedal
This little thing is awesome. I have other modelers. This thing sounds as good as all of them like Zoom MS 50 G, NuX MG 300 II, Valetone GP 100 and Tonex. And this thing keeps with all of them. Choptone IR's that come with it are really good. I also loaded my own for Bass, and this works great for both bass and guitar. Also, the fact this has a rechargeable internal battery, makes it a great tool to take anywhere and play or practice. The pedal seems to built solidly. The presets are really good without tweaking, and comes ready to play. I would recommend this for anyone just starting or a seasoned pro. This would also be a great backup to higher end modeler for gigs. I would gig with this thing for in-ear monitor type situation with no hesitation.

Studio workhorse!
This little blue bar of knobs and switches is amazing. The effects it produces are great. 9 banks of 4 effects each in the preprogrammed and they’re all different in some way. Plus, you can go into a tweak mode very easily and tweak every one of the effects. Switching to the tuner mode is easy and it’s pretty accurate as well. This pedal is built very nicely. It’s all metal construction and it does NOT feel cheaply made. The LEDs are all bright on the knobs and switches. Plus the M-Vave logo on the back changes colors, so that’s nifty lol. 😂 The app is okay, I haven’t played with it much so I can’t speak to that. But the app does allow you to change the colors of the LEDs around each switch, so that’s cool. Battery life seems to last for quite awhile. The one flaw that it has, there is a delay when switching between effects. Kinda like the volume dips when you select a different switch. If you are needing a box that’ll switch effects within a microsecond while you are gigging, this won’t work. But if you are in the studio recording or even just messing around, this is fantastic! The setup I’ve been using on this is thru my 2002 Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, Gibson Les Paul Custom, G&L Legacy Strat, G&L ASAT Classic Bluesboy. Running thru different guitars, you can definitely hear the different sounds and tones. This pedal doesn’t just “blanket” the sound of the guitar, it does enhance. It also works well with your volume and tone knobs. Turn the volume down and your overdrive will clean up a bit. TL:DR. I give this 9/10. Sounds great. Battery life great. Switching could be faster.

Worth it
Super cool! I'm still fooling with all the options, but have found some great tones in this thing. I got it to use as a cheap bass amp sim into powered monitors, and it works very well for that purpose. There's some really good tones for guitar too. Built in tuner is good. A glaring weakness is no overdrive or distortion, though I can use the boost and the gain of some of the amp sims to get a pretty saturated high gain tone. I believe you can download files for other can sims and pedals, so I may be able to add my own distortions. Controls are a little cumbersome, but easy to figure out. It's handy, being rechargeable, and I can play through headphones. Got it on prime days sale for $55, and am very happy with it at that price. Even at full price ($80?) it's a good deal.

Great Practice Amp with Versatile Tone and Effects
Fantastic practice amp for headphones or plugged into an amp. This is not something you would want to gig with live, but for practice is very versatile and you get a lot for your money. Default effects are adequate and let you play around with a lot of options. They don't rival a real pedals but are more than great for practice. The presets are definitely geared toward hard rock and metal tones, but you can set up a nice clean or light crunch easily with the various amp models etc. Controls and settings are a bit cumbersome to learn but do provide a lot of control over customizing and shaping tones and effects. It's nice to have 80 banks to use, and options for importing presets from others.

Better than I expected
I started playing guitar and singing in bands 60 years ago and still play lead guitar and sing in two local bands. I've learned that bigger and more expensive is not necessarily better. After reviewing the specs on this multi-effects pedal and considering the price I decided to give it a go. You can spend thousands on individual pedals to fill up your pedal board, but that's not my thing. I've had two Line 6 products before and was looking for something smaller, lighter, easy to use, and with a more readable screen. Nice tuner. The internal rechargeable battery was another plus. I set up a couple of presets and after a week or so of getting the hang of it, I used it on two 3 hour gigs this past weekend and like it better than my old HD 500x. I mount a small tablet on my Mic stand to turn effects on and off efficiently. It connects easily with bluetooth. I ran it straight to the board and only had to hook up one XLR cable and a wireless receiver to the pedal. Simple is good - and I was quite happy with the results. I have yet to fiddle with the looper or the internal drum machine but this would be an ideal setup for busking or solo shows. Worth checking out if you're looking for an all purpose digital multi-effect unit with XLR and 1/4 inch outputs and, oh yeah, it's compact, lightweight and battery powered. Nothing else comparable on the market at this time...

Ehhh its OK
So this is good/OK. One thing it does not have is dirt pedal selection. Maybe you already know that but the drive you get is from amp modeling. Maybe I should have known that but I did not. So I like fuzz. That's not achievable.. but. The sounds it does have a good. But somewhat limited . There are better options out there but it's OK.

This thing is really cool!
I am a Helix Floor user. Why would I look at this inexpensive little box? Well, it can fit in the Helix backpack, runs on a battery, and sounded like an inexpensive backup. It has enough connections to keep me properly running if something were to happen to my Helix at a gig or rehearsal. Oh....it also handles third party IRs and captures. First thing, download the software and update the firmware in it. Upon initially plugging it in and running through presets I was not impressed. The presets are worse than most and how they are combined in any given bank makes no sense. Just go to live mode, turn off the effects, pick an amp and cab that you are familiar with, and dial in a tone just like you would a "real" amp. Quite honestly what comes stock is not terrible. The fun begins when using different speaker IRs. Better speaker IRs make these amps sound much better. Then, start having fun with captures. This really opened up a new world for me. Rather impressed. The effects aren't bad but you have minimal control. But they sound good and you can dial them in. Draw back to this device is that there is no effects loop. However, not a big deal for me as I want this as a grab and go backup and something to mess with captures at home. Probably not the best device to build a pedal board around. Build quality is really nice. I don't see it moving much on stage. The four feet are thin though so I'm thinking of gluing some thin rubber to the back for better grip. Ergonomically, the 4 buttons are spaced far enough apart that you won't hit two at the same time to change a patch. However they are close enough together that you can hit two at the same time when you want. Will this ever take the place of my Helix? Nope! Is it competent enough to take over as a band aide? Yes if I set it up correctly. I do not believe that anyone at a gig would notice the difference in tone between my Helix and this device. I play in a rock cover band and really only need a few core sounds. I would recommend this to people wanting an inexpensive backup/flyrig to their existing modeler/capture player, people wanting to play with/experiment with captures and/or IRs, and those that just need a quick and solid solution to go direct to FOH. A lot of cool things can be done with box. The software is easy to use and gives you more options but you can easily use the controls themselves without connecting it to a computer. So a device capable of all of this at this price point deserves five stars from me.
