Drayton 123042 Digistat +3RF & Receiver, White

This replacement for a 15year old receiver was a doddle to fit, it took less than 15 minutes because of the robust plug and play features and the design facilitated the replacement. The synchronisation of the electronics was immediate following the clear, large print instructions provided. If starting from new the design of the wall mounting device makes electrical connection very easy and not fiddley. Can't recommend it enough. I got the new device within 24 hours of ordering with no hassle.

I bought this unit to replace a Drayton Digistat that had been in operation for many years. Unfortunately the old unit, although still working, had problems with battery terminals and sticking buttons. The new unit was a revelation, more control and easier to set up and use. The SCR receiver plugged straight into the old SCR mounting plate so no major work there. The battery compartment on the new unit was easy to use compared to the previous unit's double drawer setup. Programming was easy if a little long winded (every day had to be set up individually) a copy over of the settings to the remaining five or seven days would have been useful. (if there is a way of doing this, I never found it)The set temperatures came in 1/2 degree steps which, in my opinion, was a good improvement giving better control over the final temperature.First impressions are very good. Now to see how it performs over time.

This is an excellent product, neither the cheapest nor most expensive, more a tried and trusted product that is reflected in the price. The physical installation is easy, my wife programmed the unit altering both time and temperatures on the pre-set program. So far so good hopefully our next action will come when the battery indicator wants the batteries changing in a year or so.

Bought as a replacement to a faulty rebranded British gas thermostat. This was very easy to install as the included wiring harness meant that the tranmitter could be swapped by loosening 2 screws and no rewiring was required.

So easy to set up. Replaced a Drayton RF1. Backplate for receiver is identical so didn't even need to rewire anything. Does the job very well. Leave heating on and just let controller variably control the house temperature during the course of the day. The 0.5 degree temperature control stages are really helpful as well to adjust house temperature perfectly.

I bought this wireless receiver to replace a broken one. The installation was very eay and it worked first time of asking. It is portable and can be kept in any room of the hose or moved to where ever part of the house you are using at the time. The automatic set up is simple and it can be overridden at anytime if the need arises. I did have a problem with the factory set time. However an email to customer services resulted in getting instructions on how to adjust this. I can endorse this equipment and the Drayton Customer services with a 5 star rating. The down side is it is expensive at just a smidgen below £100

This was extremely easy to fit. As it was like for like replacement no wiring needed. Only needed to use the receiver as the room thermostat was working fine.

Direct replacement for 10 year old failed unit. Really good that Drayton use exactly the same fittings with no re-wiring to install - even after 10 years. The design hasn't really dated either. Power off and undo 2 screws to fit the receiver. 10mins and my heating is on again. Unit is very easy to link to transmitter & transmitter is already pre-programmed. Didn't even need to set the date and time. Wish everything was this easy.
