9336A 917-327 Transmission Fluid Dipstick for Chrysler Jeep Dodge 9336 8863B

Bought this to check the transmission fluid level on a 2012 Chrysler Town & Country, which does not come with a dipstick for the transmission. I had looked around and saw that there were wide price variations on what seemed like essentially identical items, and I saw no reason not to go with the lowest price I could find. Anyway, this item fit the bill, and I was able to easily check the level of the transmission fluid. Just one additional comment. The experts claim that you need to check the actual temperature of the transmission fluid in order to use this tool effectively. In the real world, 9 out of 10 people won't do that. In my opinion you should just drive your car for at least 15 miles in order to reach operating temperature, and then check the fluid. The level will probably be higher, the hotter the weather. Precision is nice, but in my opinion it's okay to be close enough. As long as the stick reads between 20 mm and 50 mm, you'll be fine. Just make sure the car has been driven so that the fluid is at normal operating temperature.

It worked fine but it was difficult for me to read it. Also no instructions. For most people that might not be a problem.
