I bought this journal as a Christmas gift and was not disappointed at all. I received it next day and it's beautiful. The journal is well made. Exactly as described. Well worked leather and the paper is a high grade. Packaging was very nice also. All I had to do was wrap it the gift box was not cheap and made it look even nicer. The pen is gorgeous and writes like a dream. I had to take it for a test drive to write a note in the journal for the person I'm giving it to.Very happy with this purchase and am considering purchasing one for myself now that I've seen this one. I'd definitely recommend it,

I was very impressed with this product. The leather is of very good quality, soft, supple and thick but rugged. It is very well put together this Journal will look good on anyones desk as well as will hold up well on expedition. I was expecting a rougher style of paper, but the paper is of high quality. I ordered the gift set, but I don't use the pen. I usually write with a fountain pen and the paper is pleasant to write on and the high weight takes the ink very well without feathering.I would recommend this product to anyone looking to start journaling or a seasoned Journal keeper.

It looked really nice as it comes, but I bought it as a gift I could personalize. However I found it impossible to do so neatly and clearly.I couldn't give it as a gift and therefore returned it.I may buy one for myself at another time. I really liked the look and that refills came both lined and unlined and looked convenient to remove, replace and then store the filled ones.

Beautiful gift set! Well packaged, great quality. I have several leather journals and this one is soon becoming a favorite. I had a bit of trouble managing the binding at first when I added my own inserts, but it is a genius system and I love it! It allows the journal to lay nice and flat, which I especially appreciate as a leftie. The paper is of great quality, too. This gift set is well worth the price.

I got this for a friend for xmas and it turned out to be really nice quality. The only thing I was upset about was the rosewood pen had a big obvious deep scratch in the gold clip, and I would have asked for an exchange, but there wasn't enough time, so I ended up giving the gift anyway. Other than that the pen was really nice too and wrote well. He loved the jour6and uses it a lot :) 👍🏻

I got this as a gift for my boyfriend, its super cute. He's an artist so I hope he enjoys the gift I will update later on his comments. As for me I am actually interested in getting one for myself, I love the leather and how you're able to refill the pages and its also small so I can take it everywhere with me. I already own 2 other journals but it would be nice to have one where I can refill the pages. I can make nice small books out of the pages I take out with yarn.

Everything I could had wished for as a abstract poet~even the included pen writes so smooth and the paper is high quality no doubt—fountain pens(no bleed thru problem) and watercolor(obviously 200+gsm paper would be much better for watercolor but still handles water_better than I expected) from the different writing/painting materials I’ve tried so far...each of their uniqueness isn’t derailed at all in this journal, that just brings out the wondrous soul inside each of us—in case you are wondering.
