Stripsun LED Solar Garden Lights, [12 Pack] Stainless Steel Outdoor Solar Landscape Lights / Pathway Lights for Lawn, Yard, and Driveway

We purchased some LED lawn lights a few years back from Costco, and while they're really nice, they only come in packs of 8 and are twice the cost of these lights. This is why we were happy to find these online!When we opened the box, we were a bit surprised at the size - in the photos they look a bit bigger, but these are pretty short in stature. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, though. The lights we had from Costco were kind of crazy big, so this fits with the size of our lawn/gardens much better. This box holds more than enough to put these throughout the front yard on a 1100 foot ranch home, but you may need two boxes if you want to illuminate more.The first day we put these out, they only had a few hours of sunlight to charge, and at ~ midnight they were still going strong as ever (see photos). The light that these put out are bright white / cold spectrum light, and the base of the lights put out a nice star-like light effect. The lights have an on/off switch for storage for the winter. We take all of our lights inside during the winter (cold/dark winters aren't good for these types of lights), so this on/off switch is definitely appreciated.I'd say the only negatives with these are the feel of these are a bit cheap, and the batteries are not removable. This means recycling anything within these may be an issue when they die. This is the reason I removed one star.The Costco ones have lasted about three years before multiple lights started to die, so we'll definitely have to see how these Stripsun lights last!

Okay let me start out by saying these aren't the best lights for purely illuminating a walkway so you can see. They are better viewed as a cosmetic upgrade, the design the light makes could be described as a "twinkle star". They aren't very bright themselves, I've had brighter solar lights, but these work nice for if you want a different looking lit walkway (or what have you).I do enjoy that there are 12 when usually you only get 6 or 8 in a pack, so you can cover way more ground.Basic plastic pegs that stick into the ground that you slide the lights into. One thing I don't like about this design is that if you push the pegs too far down or have tall grass, it can be hard to located the pegs again once the shell or light is removed from them. Then I have no way to put them back in.But overall a decent solar LED light to use. Great looking design for cosmetic reasons, not so much for practical reasons in my opinion as there are better out there for that.

So not bad for the price but I won't be buying them again. 10/20/18Original Review: The lights shipped out fast and all 12 arrived in perfect condition. They were easy to assemble and install. They have been working well for 1 week now and give out enough light for me. I love the star shaped light pattern they create. This is a great deal for the money!05/03/2018

Not as bright as I was expecting LED lights to be, but they do make an attractive light pattern. Of the 12 lights, only 11 worked.The company replaced the one that didn't work. The night before it arrived, another light failed. The company credited back $12.50.In the ensuing 4 weeks, two more lights have failed, leading me to believe they use the cheapest batteries on the planet.Although the company provides good customer service, I would not recommend these lights.

One light did not turn on at all. Not a happy camper. And so far down 5 lights and it’s still early. Don’t waste your money on this junk!

All twelve lights worked flawlessly. The lights are a little dim for path illumination, but are great for border accents. The facets on the light produce a star pattern that gives the illusion of small bioluminescent ferns. The solar cell and battery are sufficient to last at least six hours even on overcast days. The only downside I had found is that the stakes are somewhat flimsy, bending and breaking easily. A harder plastic would be a good update to this product. I used this for demarcating a campsite--they did not fail in the rain or damp moss where they were placed.

I live in AZ where summers are consistently over 100 degrees and the ground is like concrete. It is hard to install anything with a plastic stake, so I have to either soak ground or wait for a good rain to soften it. Metal stake would help tremendously. I really like the ease of adjusting angke and am otherwise pleased with these.

We like the lights, especially for the price. However (3) have failed during the first couple of weeks of use. I contacted the seller, and depending on their reply this review is subject to change. I'm expecting a positive outcome, but stay tuned.It's been two weeks since the company said they would replace the (3) lights, they even had us confirm the shipping address. So far, nothing received, and now a fourth light has gone out. For the price we didn't expect anything "great", but they should at least work.
