I use these for cleaning out the lint from my sewing machine bobbin area. I used to use the small ones that the quilt shops sell, but the applicator end always fell off and dropped inside my machine. IDK what these are for in terms of makeup or teeth, but they work super well with a little rubbing alcohol for getting keyboards sparkling clean! They are rigid enough to direct toward stubborn debris, and they have enough soft fiber at one end to absorb a little rubbing alcohol.
