The "Sea Battle Game - 2 Player Strategy Board Game" mainly an engraver. It will cut thin stuff but engraving it it's best. I have had lots of fun engraving leather, wood, aluminium and hardboard. Cuts paper and card very easy but use a honeycomb base or mesh. Ideal for small projects (130 x 130 mm engravable area).Great hobby machine, not for the home business. fan an filter good for single item, multiple items you really need to use it in a shed or workshop or mod with a duct out the window.I have the laser engraving bug and this is a great entry machine.

I got this in August and it's already not working it's completely stopped and it's outside of return window witch is a joke

Maximum dimensions you can cut/engrave are 130x130. You’ll need Lightburn (another £60-80) if you want to avoid their free software and the air kit (£60) really helps the quality.Once up and running I’m getting perfect squares and clean cuts with 3-6 passes depending on ply thickness (I don’t run at 100% power very often).Perfect for Halloween decorations and cutting dark card. BUT 130x130 is awfully small and I’m already wanting a bigger one.If you’ve a 3D printer knock up a vent adaptor and you can send the smells outside. The cheap ply sold here stinks when being engraved or cut.

Straight out of the box this machine was so badly setup and in need of adjustment. The V rollers on the Y axis gantry were way out and causing excess wobble and the end of the gantry was catching the plastic enclosure and causing the machine to lock up. This is not what I expect from a brand new laser engraver and makes me wonder how it had a QC passed label on it. I readjusted the concentric nuts on the rollers and trimmed part of the plastic moulding and now the machine works ok. Definitely not good first impressions and makes me worried about it's long-term reliability.

easy to use. I made a jig at the back of it so as can lift it up on larger items. might Evan take the base off.

Good product but SculpFun don’t make or sell replacement lens so once the lens have gone the lazer is then unable

Good laser engraver with terrible software. Thankfully it is compatible with other laser engraving software. Other issues include there being no way to align your wood for cutting so you'll have to rig something up yourself, and being 5W it needs a good 13 passes at 85% power to cut through some types of 3mm plywood. Overall though, a pretty good machine.
