Love these plates! I use these to train for trail running.

I ordered the 8.75lb plates and they were the perfect weight for my vest. These are made specifically for the Tribe WOD Vest and allow you to put extra resistance to your workouts. The plates are very well made and came nicely packaged in a box. They don't have any writing on them, they are plainly black plates. Tribe WOD also makes a lighter version of the plates for less resistance or for people that might need less weight on their vest. Overall, these plates are the perfect pair to use with your Tribe WOD Vest. They are a bit on the pricey side as opposed to other weight vest companies out there that include the plates with the vest. I am happy with the resistance these plates provide and would recommend them to anyone that has a Tribe WOD vest. Thank you for reading my review today, hope it helps!

Great weighted vest for working out, would recommend!

All corners are rounded as are the edges. It's a nicely cut/machined steel plate that is painted completely black. There are no blemishes or flaws. I don't have the vest for it yet, but I can tell you that such a metal plate uses less volume than something like sand. Lead pellets would probably take up more volume because of the air space. Plus, stuff like sand and pellets shift and flop around more.Using a plate instead of something more blocky keeps the weight more widely distributed, which is less cumbersome.No complaints. These will make excellent weights for any exercise vest designed to hold them.

So bought the vest thinking it was weighted, disappointed when I realized it was just the vest. Til I found these guys…These weight plates sit securely into the vest and add that extra oomph needed for a good workout.My husband loves the vest with the plates! It’s adjustable and with all the Velcro those plates aren’t going anywhere even while jumping or doing quick maneuvers.I highly recommend getting the vest along with these weight plates because they’re a perfect match!Love it! It’s awesome!
