A great figure, very poseable, looks good in both modes, simple yet fun transformation. Could hide the torso and arms a bit better in jet mode.

I found no disappointment with this figure. None at all. First, let's address the size. She's a bit small, but this is accurate. Accessories When you are opening up the package, there will be a paper bundle containing her sword and the golden crest that attaches to the back of her head. I advise opening with care over a table so you don't lose the crest. Articulation Ball joint in the head that cannot go far, but there is a cutout in the back of the head allowing her to look up at approximately 45 degrees. This cutout can also allow her to look side to side more. Shouders are smooth, going up 45 degrees. They cannot do a full 360 when spinning due to the wings. Upper arms can spin, almost doing a full 360, but they are once again stopped by the wings. Elbows bend at a perfect 45 degree angle. Hands are on a hinge, and they can do a perfect 360. No finger articulation. Waist swivel can do a full 360, due to being uninterrupted. Thigh swivel can only go towards her back, at almost a 45 degree angle. Knee bends at a 45 degree angle. Ankle tilts at almost a 45 degree angle. Unofficial bit, but the propellers can spin at a full 360, while the inside of them is locked in place. This is unlike the original 2015 figure. Pro(s) Weapon storage in both modes. In jet mode, the sword becomes the flame effect that is supposed to come out of the boosters. In robot mode, the sword attaches to her leg, which is something that Strongarm less than a year before should have done with her gun. Detailed to perfection. Lots of articulation points. Very stable. Con(s) The flame part cannot be removed from the sword, which would make it able to turn on and off.

Don't get me wrong, this IS the best deluxe class figure of Windblade we've gotten thus far. And by itself, it's pretty neat. Surprisingly fresh transformation, good poseability, nice looking sword... But why is she a deluxe? She turns into a jet. And with HasTak's track record of having jetformers be a jet with a robot sticking from under them, you'd think they'd class Windblade up to at least Voyager for the higher part count. You know, like SS86 Hot Rod. He turned out fine. He turned out great! Better than any of the previous attempts to make him at the deluxe pricepoint. Sure, he still feels like a deluxe, especially in scale, but I would have gladly paid more for Windblade to finally feel complete. As she stands in this form, her wings in robot mode are structural kibble and the jet mode is oddly shaped and has visible open hands... Again it's not bad but just please give her a higher part count next time and give us a Windblade that makes her justice once and for all...
