Received 3 good sized plantains and 2 small ones. Cooked the 3 riped plantains and enjoyed them, they were good and tasty. Waiting for the 2 smaller plantains to ripen before cooking. Ordered from Amazon for convenient and not necessarily for value for money. Quality was okay. So 4 stars only.

I found the plantains to be over ripe they bore no resemblance to the advertised photo.They were not yellow but black.I threw them away unfortunately I couldn't serve them to my guests. I expected good quality I paid £8.50 for five poor quality plantains.A total waste of money.
