I like the products from this company. They are well thought out and extremely effective at premium beard care. This beard wash won’t leave you feeling oily. I have extremely coarse and thick beard hair and this was one of the few washes that actually cleans all of my beard. Love the product

I’ve used several different beard shampoos over the years and this is by far the best ! And this is coming from a master barber ..so I know a thing or two about beards .

After using regular shampoo on my beard with poor results I began using beard shampoos. I use the can you handlebar oils so when they came out with a shampoo I had to try it. It is the best beard shampoo I've tried! Great lather and scent washing away clean without drying the skin or beard. I hope they come out with a conditioner soon too! Highly recommend.

This beard shampoo does exactly as it describes. It cleans without drying my beard or skin out. Smell is a bit harsh but doesn’t linger in the beard after washed out. Tried numerous other products but this is the only one I’ve been happy with.

My husband absolutely loved this shampoo. Makes his beard smooth and manageable. Safe for everyday use and at a reasonable price, you won't find a better product! They also make great beard oil

This Beard Shampoo from @CanYouHandlebar is outstanding!I've used numerous beard shampoos from various brands and companies and this one left my beard noticeably softer and my skin reinvigorated after just one wash.It's all natural ingredients leave a zingy fragrance that doesn't overpower any oils or balms I may use afterwards.If you're put off by the price don't be. You need very little beard shampoo per wash so this bottle will last months and the results are really very good.Also the customer service from this American based company is outstanding. I live in England and the personal emails I get from CanYouHandlebar show this beard care company really care about their customers.Has to be 5 Stars. Highly recommended.

This is my first ‘CanYouHandlebar’ product - I’ve also got a couple of moustache waxes to try. The brand name is fun and memorable and the bottle design is simple yet appropriate. I’ve tried a couple of different beard shampoos over the past couple of years since letting my beard grow out, some of which I’ve really not liked at all (I’m looking at you, Ted Baker) and some I’ve got on fine with, including some fairly budget brands that you find in your local supermarket. But it is nice to occasionally change it up, and this shampoo/beard wash is a lovely treat.The scent is similar to menthyl so it hits you quite hard, but it evoques a sense of ‘clean & fresh’ that is probably appropriate. I creates a good lather and I like to leave it in for the duration of my shower before washing it out at the end.After a few uses so far it has kept my 5” beard as soft as I’ve expected it to be, and it hasn’t caused any skin reactions. A splash of oil and a comb through and I’m good-to-go.For a price of c. £23 (at time of review) this is quite expensive stuff, but as I’m considering my luxury shampoo as opposed to my regular one I can see it lasting a fair while. It would probably make a nice gift for a beard-wearer as they may not typically look beyond the high street.

A bottle of shampoo specifically designed for washing facial hair.At no point on the bottle does it say how much of the product it contains, but it is a good size, larger than this kind of thing usually is.It has one of those caps at the top which you press to put into an up position and then the contents come out through a small slot when squeezed. Be aware there is a paper seal in there so you need to unscrew it and remove that first.But when you do get the stuff out, it's good. It doesn't have much of a lather. But it does have a very nice scent. And does give a very good clean. It's quite good on hair on the top of your head as well.It's also ethically produced, according to the bottle. One drawback is the price, which as you can see from the listing isn't cheap. But it's one of those things where you pay a premium price because it does a good job.

While I love this beard wash/shampoo, I do think that it doesn't deserve 5* but only due to price. At this time it is selling for £20 a bottle. That for me is far too much and I would imagine puts quite a few people off buying.The item itself is great. It makes your beard feel soft and smooth without that residue feeling you sometimes get with other products. The smell is very strong, but lovely at the same time, herbs and menthol for a cooling feeling on your face. A little does go a long way so it will last a while I would imagine. But it's just too much for what is essentially a conditioner.Those are my thoughts. If it was cheaper it would get 5* but it's £20.
