These steel round balls work great for moving stuff on the concrete garage floor but no so much on wooden floors. The actual contact surface is only a few millimeters so if you are moving anything heavy you’d need several of them under the same board. I noticed that they dented a wooden area immediately; luckily it wasn’t in the house. They are easy to install and reuse so I don’t mind drilling a whole bunch just to distribute the weight equally then uninstall them for the next project.

These roll perfect under my crates that hold heavy ammunition boxes. I can roll them around on my concrete floor from under the shelves with ease.

With a .2 inch/6 mm hole for mounting to various items, you can find a ton of things to make mobile with these roller balls. It also has a 400 lb load bearing capacity, which is impressive. The use cases here are almost to enumerable to be mentioned, but for me, I mounted these under a treadmill that originally only came with two. They don't have brakes, so you'll want to keep that in mind, but on a pure cost for benefit ratio, this is a great value. The rollers roll easily and you can tell these were made to last. Product recommended.
