A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to try this product, and I must say that it has pleasantly surprised me with the extensive variety of features that it has for such a little gadget. At the moment that I first unwrapped the MP3 player that had Bluetooth and WiFi, I was instantly struck by how sleek and contemporary it seemed. My opinion is that the high-definition touchscreen measuring 4.2 inches finds an excellent mix between portability and visibility. This allows me to browse menus and applications without having to strain my eyes over time. Despite the fact that I believe the build quality is sturdy enough to handle the rare slips that occur in my bag, I would still suggest purchasing a protective cover if you are on the go as often as I am. This device was not just used for listening to music, but it was also used for streaming music from services such as Spotify, Amazon Music, and Deezer. Because it is compatible with these applications, in addition to Audible, I am able to move between my playlists, podcasts, and audiobooks with simple and seamless transitions. On account of this high degree of adaptability, I believe that it is especially well-suited for those who are looking for a single device that can do both local music playing and streaming possibilities. On the other hand, I have observed that downloading bigger playlists via WiFi might sometimes seem a little bit slower than it would on a typical smartphone. I have a strong suspicion that this is connected to the hardware limitations of a specialized MP3 player; thus, it is not a deal-breaker for me; nonetheless, it is important to note for anybody who requires really quickly downloading content.

if you're looking for a reasonably priced micromusic player, this is your huckleberry.easy to use, instruction manual is a bit weak but the unit is easy to figure out.battery life is very good, on bluetooth, pluged-in, or onboard speaker.connected to all my bluetooth devices, and has a device list to force connection to a given device if others detected.sounds great! the 7 band equalizer is super handy, a few canned settings and you get 1 custom setting!comes with a rubber protective case, very durable, I have bounced it a few times and it didn't blink.buts...the instruction manual is very barebones. it's a good start but the images in the manual are as hard to see as on the unit itself, and there are helpful things you can do that are not in it. it's not comprehensive in it's scope.the FM radio needs a very strong signal to actually play the station. it found stations that are mostly static that are easily playable with another cheap FM radio I have.rescanning the FM stations overwrites the old stations, even the ones you manually tuned and added.the font size of the display is fixed, not a huge thing, but it can make reading what the screens say a bit difficult.

While the unit played music as expected, it is not much use for playing audiobooks as it does not understand chapters. To test this feature I converted an Audible selection to an MP3. Within the convertor the chapter structure clearly worked, but when loaded into player the forward and back buttons went to the start or the end of the 10hr MP3. There is also no means of advancing or moving back some amount of time. Likely good for tunes but not a replacement for an ipod nano.I also tried MP4B format hoping the features I wanted might be present then. The device does not understand MP4B either.

Initially, on the first one of these I ordered, I believed it was a very good value for the money, but rated it a 3 as you could not set the Date and Time and have it remain set correctly. It would immediately return to Jan 1 12:00AM. I did not pay much attention to that, because I don't care what the setting is... I don't use it for Date & Time. However, in searching through all the settings, deeply hidden behind the 'Now Playing' screen, I came upon a 'Sound' setting. There was a slider to adjust the 'Maximum' volume level. As the volume level sounded a little low, I adjusted the slider all the way to the top. The sound was immediately maximized. But, when I left that screen to return to the Now Playing screen, the volume decreased to '0'!!! I tried multiple times to maximize it to no avail. This is identical to the unit not retaining the Date & Time settings. Assuming it was simply a defective device, I requested a replacement from Amazon, which I received today.This unit functions EXACTLY as the first one: won't hold Date & Time settings or the Maximum Volume setting!!! It would seem that Conrain has some tremendous quality control and/or design defect issues with this device. Do not purchase!!!

I was disappointed overall. I wanted a good MP3 Player to use at the gym. This seemed great until I couldn't get it to sign into the gym's WIFI. They don't have a password and maybe that was the problem but even asking the gym employees to help me - we couldn't get it to play my playlist online. It wouldn't connect to the internet at all. It worked fine at home when I put in the password to our router but won't work at the gym which was the whole reason I purchased it. I like the screen and ease of use otherwise but I don't need it at home...I only need it for the gym.

I love the fact that it will play for 12 to 15 hours. It is easy to download my music. It does say you can hear it without earphones, or a speaker, but the sound is very low volume. But it has a great quality when you add speakers. I use it most to relax when I'm sleeping, but I may add more music at another time for other things.
