I started a garden in a 40'x30' area long inhabited by gophers. I put two of these in and the gophers moved right out after a couple of days! They are still digging around the perimeter, but they aren't bothering anything. This would probably not be an ideal solution for a large yard, as you'd need them all over the place, but a couple of them do put up a nice sonic perimeter around a small zone. They are easily switched off if you want to work around them without hearing them buzz every minute.

One of them didn't work properly - you could barely hear it. I was going to return them, however, every time I would take it out of the ground it would start making a louder noise so I'd decide to give it another chance.. The second one still makes noise, but it doesn't seem to work. I've had them for more than a month and there are more new tunnels a couple feet away from them.

I would not recommend buying these. I have some other Harbor Freight mole chasers, which vibrate louder and appear to work better. One of mine never did work, the other is so low volume, I would hesitate to say it could work.

Well, so far no moles!!! Will keep a watch to make sure they do not reappear; must be these units cause I have not done anything more than put these in strategic places; I sure hope it is them and if so, I will be buying another box/or two.Thank you for 'so far' a great product!

Minimal effect, but batteries need replacement after a year.

Completely worthless. The moles are digging right by it! Also emits an aubible beeping noise that is apparently more annoing to me than it is to the moles...
