Solid Inverter
I ordered this for my so called "Solar Generator" project. I have done tons of research, participated in forums, read reviews, articles and got advice from professionals. I decided to purchase the Go Power Industrial Inverter. 1500 Watts will serve me perfectly. Along with my LiFePO4 batteries, this Inverter provides clean and stable AC power. It has a very low draw when not in use, and I ordered the remote for the ability to turn it off when not needed at all.The inverter is very efficient (91%) and priced great for its robust high quality, durability and awesome performance. It has GFCI AC outlets, and a rocker switch for on/off and remote settings. The connectors are very strong and the included connector covers add safety.I am very happy with this inverter, and Go Power was very helpful in making my decision. They are very willing and open in helping customers. The unit is even UL listed. This is a fantastic value for the price and performance. This will provide me with reliable AC power for many years to come. I give it 5 stars.

Works excellent thus far.
This product seems very well built. It handles the loads I have applied quite well with no worries at all. I ran a fridge and a freezer separately and it did an excellent job. I ran it previously the night before all night and it ran without complaint. The only downside for me is that the fan is somewhat loud. This definitely would not work if you have to spend a lot of time in close proximity. The fan kicks on after a few minutes of running, not necessarily when under heavy load. All in all, it works great so far. I'll update later in another few months.UPDATE - 1 MONTH LATER.This unit continues to impress me. On a good sunny day, I can run two refrigerators comfortably. I use it on a solar system. The unit handles the load like a boss. It runs for about 12 hours per day and sometimes up to 15 hours. I am very satisfied so far and will definitely recommend this.

Impressed
Really great inverter. Haven’t had long and have only used a few times. I regret not going with the 3000 watt. I’ll probly have to sell this one then buy the 3000. I don’t believe this one will run my ac unit.UpdateI plan on running a 5000 btu window unit off this inverter, but didn’t want to spend the money till I knew it would run it. Yesterday I hooked a 8000 btu window unit I already had that was rated for 6.8 amps continuos and probly somewhere around 15-20 amps on start up. This little 1000 watt inverter ran it with no issues at all. Go power will be my choice from now on.

"Used Electronics No Good"
I wanted to replace my inverter with a newer one, so I went with the GoPower because it had great ratings. When this one arrived it was obvious it was previously used, due to screw marks on the mounting flange.Once I installed it, the only thing that worked were the flashing lights, there was no a/c voltage whatsoever. It was installed correctly and the pin switches were set correctly.I believe the inverter is a good one however, whomever had it prior to me may have had some troubles.Another good thing about the GoPower is that they have U.S. based tech support.

Solid & Reliable as I've tested!
This inverter works as advertised. Solid quality and seems like a good fit for my shop tools running off 600 watts of solar panels and 800 amp hours battery bank. The reason for 4 stars is that it doesn't show the volts of your batteries or the watts you are using like the older model does on my other solar set up in my work truck. So far these inverters have been working flawlessly in dirty work shop environments with high amounts of dust and heat. for years now. I recently purchased an AIMS brand 3000 watt inverter for another system and it didn't even last a month under similar conditions. Still waiting on Aims to come thru on the warrantee. So, Go Power is truly the most reliable but also the more expensive brand to get. Its better to spend the extra money as far as I have learned. Lastly, this model is not quiet when the cooling fan kicks on. So I wouldn't put it anywhere where you need things to be quiet when it is in operation. Cooling fan mostly comes on when temps around the unit are 90 and above or when you put a heavy load on it.

GFCI Outlet mount is the weak point
If you are planning to use this regularly to plug and unplug your devices I would choose a different brand. Go Power screws the GFCI outlet into the yellow plastic endplate. The plastic is thin and full of vents. This was my third time plugging something into the inverter after owning it for less than two weeks. Fortunately it is being replaced. I am planning on connecting this to a transfer switch so I can utilize my camper outlets instead of the outlet on the inverter.
