Exceeded my expectations, even after reading some glowing customer reviews.Pros+++++Leverless fight box that cost less than your standard first party Dual Sense, Switch Pro, or Xbox Series controller+Lovely acrylic shell+++Quality and quiet mechanical linear switches+++The RGB LEDs are bright, dimmable, with a couple animation options (or you can turn them off)++There is an extra USB C and a USB A extension port+The tiny built-in config display is a discrete little luxury+++Weight is solid, feels good in the lap or on the desk+Quality Type A to C USB cable+Some extra key caps and a spare switchCons-Key caps feel a little cheap and are pretty easy to pop off- No padding underneath with metal screws exposed (cold on bare thighs, could scratch desk)Neutral comments=Small footprint, about as big as a DVD movie box= Single page of useful info= Works on my PC and Switch=Significantly louder than gamepad but much quieter than my arcade stick=Not immediately intuitive... There's a learning curve***I'll update if anything goes wrong... Otherwise, I highly recommend!

I always wondered why arcade controllers seemed so expensive when they seem very straightforward to make. Well, this thing blows every other leverless arcade controller out of the water in terms of bang for the buck. While the controller base was smaller than I had expected, the build quality is very solid, and it really has everything you need. SOCD control, customizable button lighting, LED screen that displays useful information (ex. SOCD mode, input mode, button presses), easy access to switch buttons / switches. It is lightweight and compact, can easily carry this around in a small bag if needed.I am going to stick with haute42 going forward for leverless arcade controllers, already tempted to buy the t16 which is the bigger version.

Love the size and build quality. And the configurator website is just mind blowing on what you can do. /* cough macros cough */Why the 4 stars? Well for me, I'm still trying to rewire my brain to press my thumb to jump. So I find myself reaching for the up button with my middle finger, which on this controller, is in an awkward position. Maybe it's to discourage it's usage? I don't know, but it is kinda discouraging, and I find myself just reaching for my gamepad.

Love the quality of the buttons. Very easy and intuitive to get going and change the colors. Satisfying clicks. 9/10 it's a little small but I love it!

WOW! I'm really happy with this hitbox (or whatever it's called). I have large hands and was worried about hand cramps, since its one of the smaller hitboxes out there but that's been no issue at all. The product itself looks clean and because it is so small its not an eyesore when its on my desk and can be easily stored. Beyond its appearance, it's helped me get more comfortable with fighting games.I've always struggled with the genre, only finding mild success in Tekken 8 where I reached Garyu with a controller. I've had trouble hitting the right inputs, and it only gets worse when opponents are pressuring me and I'm not executing the move I intended. This hitbox has helped me feel more in control of my character and helped me stay more calm when playing against people. It did take some time to adjust, but the more comfortable I get with it, the easier combos become.I don't own other hitboxes, but I highly recommend this one. It looks great, and for the price, it offers a lot.

I was always interested in a Hitbox controller thanks to Nephew (SF5/6 player) and tried to modified my keyboard to mimic one. I liked the feel of it and decided to do some research and came upon the Haute42 16 keys controller.+ First off, IT IS A CRIME FOR IT TO BE THIS CHEAP. I hope they don't increase the price so more people can enjoy this amazing tech. But my God is it cheap for the quality you receive.+ I used it for SF6, Tekken 7, MK11 and zero complaints. Execution is amazing+ Adds so much fun to the game when you can execute at a high level with a constant high percentage of execution.- The only negative if I can give it that is due to my own laziness. When used on the PS4, you have to download drivers and flash your keyboard so it works longer than 10 mins or it will auto disconnect. Again, if you're not lazy like me it's not an issue. They detail instructions online to guide you easily and of course they have their discord to assist you.But on PC it's plug and play nothing else needed/required.

Easy to set up. Small compact size yet the buttons feel well spaced. The buttons feel responsive and overall board seem well constructed. For this price, this seems like a great entry-level leverless controller.

The G16 has amazing quality & is smaller than I thought (I also use a snackbox micro controller.) You can easily add your own custom art & swap out the buttons which I plan on doing. The button sounds are a lot quieter than a standard mechanical keyboard, & the Home, Back, & Start buttons on top portion of the G16 have a rubbery soft feel which I appreciate (Snack Box Micro Menu buttons have a pretty hard plastic touch to them). For the price, this a must buy for any fighting game fan attempting to make the switch to lever less. I'm primarily playing on PC & I'll be using a brook wingman converter to play on PS5.
