The Archetypes and the Collective Unconscious Paperback – 1 Dec. 2013

Words spliced together or split apart letter by letter, random letters and numbers printed mid sentence all add up to an illegible and poor quality item that I got two pages into before giving up and returning it! It's a shame as I need the book for my course but this is just impossible to read!

Wow just WOW!!! Staggeringly bad!!! I can't believe I missed the reviews for this monstrosity!!! I normally read all the reviews of a product before buying and I recommend you do too!This is the most laughable excuse for a product I have ever borne witness too. If I didn't feel so robbed and violated I would be laughing hysterically.The print quality is absolutely 100% GARBAGE. There are gaps between the letters in the words. Another reviewer before me used the word "spliced" to describe the visual appearance of the words in this edition. This is accurate.I t rea ds l ike a mon key foun d a ty pe wr i t er and tr ied to be Car l Jung fo r f u n bu t it is no t fun n y.

A classic. Bought it to replace one that I lent a colleague who never returned it.

This book reminded me of times when I scanned pages with a primitive OCR engine... words are sliced up and it makes it unreadable.

I am on a journey of individuation and it is really helpful to understand how the archetypes operated in our dreams.

It simply wasn't possible to overlook the truly dreadful print and formatting quality, and manage to actually read the material. I've returned this edition. It should be pulped!

This is an excellent book, but this publication is terrible. The typesetting is all over the place, and it is filled with typos, basically illegible. I contacted the seller and they gave me a full refund. Don't buy this edition, but do read this book.

Check the title carefully. Don't let them full you.

The printing of this book is awful. The spacing between words is incorrect, literally hard to read. But the content by Jung is gold. I recommend this book but not from this publisher.

La lecture est très compliquée aux premières 50 pages de ce livre. Je suis très déçu de la qualité. En revânche, le contenu est magnifique.

Just writing this since it bears repeating: this is a 44 page book containing just one essay... there's another book of the same name., With many more essays ( 550 pages ) Giving it two stars for being confusing in this choice.

Read it in college and just bought a new copy 20 years later. Love having this on my shelf.
