I bought this ceiling light in March 2024, and although I was initially sceptical, it turned out to be a great choice. With so many options out there, I wasn’t sure how it would actually look — but it looks even better in person and definitely doesn’t feel cheap. The brightness is excellent, and the adjustable colour temperatures are a great feature for different moods. The remote does look a bit basic, but it works perfectly without any issues. The oak finish adds a nice touch, and overall the quality feels solid. Very happy with this purchase!

Love the light. The combo of oak and white is my kitchen vibe. They look great. I only have a small kitchen but bought 2 for some symmetry. Love the remote contol function and that they can be dimmed or brightened to different level. You can also do this via your phone. The remotes work from the rear of the garden too - yes i played around with them. Fab purchase and great price. Would definitely buy again. Good delivery time too. Kitchen fitter fitted them with ease too.

Get a cuppa and biscuits, and make your self comfortable, because it's a long one. Ordered 3 of these lights, attempted to fit them on Saturday. First one went on ok, just had to make the wire hole bigger, as we have old wiring in the house. But attached it, plugged it, working. Very bright, surprisingly bright! Light 2 won't power up, swapped the transformer from the 3rd light, and it works. So the transformer was faulty from the start. Return requested, another light ordered, apparently this time will have to wait 2-3 weeks for delivery, even though I'm paying for prime .... aanyhoo Third light went on, powers up, great, happy days. The light was fitted around 2 pm, by the time it got dark, it stopped working. Looks like the transformer died on this one as well. Today's Monday evening, and the first light is still working. I have contacted the customer service on Saturday afternoon - no response. Bonus feature, cannot connect the light to neither the remote nor the app, would like to dim it down a bit, as it might give me seizures if I come home in the middle of the night and am not prepared to be blinded. Also, the phone resisted installing the app, at some point I was questioning it my self, as it was requesting permissions I don't feel it needs, then you panda to it, only to get a pop up in chinese to accept the t&c's, and if you don't, you can't use it. Swiftly followed up with more bizarre permissions request. So I'm here wondering if chinese mafia us not rummaging through my phone as we speak ... Otherwise, the lights look good when fitted. Easy to install if you're not trying to look at instructions, and blinding bright, so best not to look directly at it. Had a look for transformers, and they can be replaced, but probably will not connect to the app nor remote. But then again, neither did the original one, so realistically, same difference, but more money spent.

Very nice and good quality

This light has some great features for the price, but what I didn't realise before buying any light of this "almost flush to ceiling" type of design of light is that the edges of the disc and the single source of light mean that if this is your only light source in the room it creates many shadows, including the whole ceiling. Perhaps I should have realised this would be the case for any design that has a sunken light source depending on the edge of the disc it is in, but the photos in the adverts for all the lights of this design, including this one do not show this. I imagine that this light would be ok if you also have wall uplighters in the room, but for me it created a distracting and artificial look. After a day I swapped it for a 6-bulb non-shaded chandelier type light, which is amazing (both brighter and minimal shadow effects due to the multiple separated light sources). However, one of the main reasons I bought this light in particular was for the ability to vary the light temperature and brightness with the remote, which worked well and helped me to decide on the temperature and brightness I wanted to go with in its replacement (6 x 840Lm bulbs at 5000k for an Office space). I am keeping the light as I appreciate that feature, I may well use it elsewhere (say a corridor/utility room/or somewhere with many uplighters) and I also had to drill extra holes to fit it to my ceiling for testing to align with beams.
