Amok Time Elvira: Mistress of the Dark Deluxe 7" Action Figure (Winking Version)

The packaging is a bit confusing, as it seems to indicate this is not the "Winking Version" of the two Elvira action figures this manufacturer makes, so at first I thought I'd received the less-expensive version and was about to return it. But closer inspection revealed this IS the "Winking Version" and the back of the box is advertising the other version available--the "Non-Winking-Version," I assume. ;-D It is smaller than I thought it would be, but there is no complaint about the quality of the design or manufacture and the attention to detail--this IS a miniature Elvira, one that I'm sure "Elvira," Cassandra Peterson, thinks is pretty cool, too (in fact, I first saw this figure on her website when she posted a picture of it and seemed to like it). It's very appealing, fun, and definitely captures the personality of Elvira with its facial expression and pose. I recommend it to fans and collectors.

Whoever sculpted this did a fantastic job. It exudes such personality. I was expecting a stagnant figurine, but surprisingly Elvira moves her head and swivels her hips, there's even limited arm motion. You can't move the legs, but the motion provided allows you add your own flair to the pose. The variation in the texture of the plastic to allow for motion and effect is remarkably seamless. It's a fun, great quality tribute to a marvelous character.
