Fiberglass Door and Window Screen Replacement - Black 91cm x 213cm - 120g/sq.m 16x18 Holes/cm - Durable, Pet Resistant, and Flame Retardant

Well, I've never had anything like this before and i was moving to a new flat surrounded by trees. Any summer will bring moths & the like to any open window with a light on. Anyway, i read many reviews & this fibreglass mesh got really good reviews. I'm using mine as netting over my upvc windows to keep out the crawlies. I bought 2 packs, along with 2 packs of tesa velcro tape. I've include pictures, but the 2 packs of mesh were enough to cover 4 average sized windows. There were cuttings left which really would be enough to do another 2 windows, but it'd be in pieces. I simple applied my Velcro tape around my window in pieces, not a continuos strip ( saves velcro, gives more coverage for other windows). The netting, i cut just a tiny bit wider. Trick is to just PRESS it against the Velcro with your thumb or fingers ( like your putting blue tac on a wall). Stays up, my velcro hasn't come off either from the first day. Oh, so many reviews say to clean the upvc with meths. I didn't have any, used domestos bleach spray on A jay cloth, wiped around the whole edge & then dried it with loo roll! I think as long as you clean your frames good, you can use anything. Anyway, very impress!

I've used this like everyone else to stop bugs flying inmy tips are:use sticky velcro on one side then use brand name Gorilla tape on the other side so the velcro doesn't come off when you rip the sheet away to open / close the window - the regular black masking tape isn't sticky enough and falls off! especially in the sunthe mesh is hard wearing and doesn't crease so buying more for my other windows

Excellent product, great quality & amazing price - fits a sliding patio door perfectly. After wasting time & money on those flimsy small nets that my cat just loved to claw at, so last year decided to try something stronger & I bought some of this but it was twice the price.. Then I saw this & thought ooh, it might be ok as a back up for the expensive one or a couple of windows, but I wasn't expecting much for the price..How WRONG i was !! Its absolutely FANTASTIC!If anything its even better than the expensive one - its actually finer mesh & softer to touch but still really strong & cat proof, It also doesn't have a strong chemical smell like the last one. Yes it came folded so the were a few creases but they soon smooth out once you put it up.I will be stocking up on these & the expensive one will be used for back up.Happy Happy, Joy Joy.. :-)

This screen is really excellent. I needed it to create a barrier against my neighbour's tribe of cats who liked to use a gazebo with inevitable consequences (not to mention cat hair left on seats). The mesh was exceptionally easy to cut and sharp scissors can simply be slid through it to slice. When attached to a frame it is strong and has done the job for which it was bought. One tiny niggle is that because the mesh arrives folded, it never really flattens out but proved to be strong enough to be stretched across a frame and stapled in place without tearing free. I would certainly buy this product again and happily recommend it.

I bought this to make cat proof fly screens for my windows and it’s perfect for the job!I bought ‘sew/stick’ Velcro at the same time and combined the two to make a removable screen similar to the ready made ones I had bought in the past, but at a fraction of the cost.Great service too, highly recommend and I will be back for more to make screens for my mums house.

I have not used it yet, but the material seems strong and I do not think anyone will be disappointed with it. I have not put it up yet so could not give it allot of stars. I gave it full stars on the quality of the material only.
