This product is a lifesaver for me! I am a videographer and I carry heavy camera equipment, with my arms held up and my neck often stretched, too, for long periods of time. And when I am not filming I spend up to 10 hours (sometimes more) per day at the computer editing. I have chronic neck and shoulder pain and nothing has helped. I have seen doctors and physical therapists and do daily exercise. I got the Moor Heating Pad just over a week ago and I was editing and decided to try it cold, first. I left it in the freezer for about 45 minutes and then put it on my shoulders. Unlike ice packs, it wasn't painfully cold. But the cold radiated into my neck and shoulders slowly while I worked and I realized at some point that I didn't notice any pain. I can't remember the last time that happened! I used it heated that night and it stayed warm for hours and felt like the warmth just slowly penetrated and kept my muscles loosened up and more comfortable. Today I am at my computer all day again and am using the heat, and it helps just as much as the cold. They are both great and I love that I can use it either way and they both provide so much relief (its too cold here today to use the cold method!) This product is the best heat/cold system I have ever used, and I have been dealing with the shoulder/neck pain for so many years. I would recommend this to anyone with pain, but also to anyone who just wants to be able to relax and get tension out of their muscles.I also love that the heat option is moist heat - its doesn't make my neck or shoulder wet (like some heat pads can) but I can feel the moisture/humid quality and I think that helps a lot too.The only downside is that there is a bit of a plastic smell when using the heat. I contacted the manufacturer about this and they confirmed its because of the softening agent they use in the material that contains the Moor (the miraculous stuff that transfers heat or cold so well!) They told me it is not a toxic chemical, and should fade with time, and they chose the safest materials available to make their product. That was a relief to hear. They suggested putting tea bags or coffee grounds (in a filter that is sealed) into the cover of the heating pad to cover the smell. I chose two Chai tea bags to try - and now I can't notice the plastic smell, but when I heat the Moor (I don't put the tea bags in the microwave - I slip them in the cover after!) it smells SO good!!! The smell on its own is relaxing, and you could probably use any tea that you like. I may try lavender next!Also, the cotton cover that comes with it is so soft and comfortable. The Moor Heating pad fits perfectly on my neck and shoulder and the little bit of weight to it also helps relax my muscles because it helps me keep my shoulders down, instead of hunching up when I'm focused on work.Finally, the packaging this product came in is beautiful! The box and the way it was presented is elegant. I was so surprised at how nice it was - the instructions and information were clear, and I was using it within the hour (had to wait for it to chill first!)I cannot recommend MOQY Moor Heating pad enough! Its fantastic!

Stick it in the microwave and minutes later you’ve got a very hot, soothing pad that feels like heaven around your neck, on your stomach, on your shoulders, or on your thighs. Put it in the freezer and you’ve suddenly got a rock-hard cooling pad that is an icy sensation wherever you need to relieve inflammation. My favorite “setting” of this pad, however, is when it’s been stored in the refrigerator (not the freezer) overnight and is not too cold but still very chilled, and it's more flexible compared to when it’s been in the freezer.Everything about this heating-cooling pad is first rate. It’s filled with a 100 percent natural fluid that at first has a pleasant sweetish smell when you take it out of the microwave. Whether the pad is hot, freezing, or semi-cold, it holds all temperatures very well for substantial periods. I like moving the pad around to different areas of my body, even if certain parts aren’t tense or hurting.This is a fairly large heating-cooling pad that will cover substantial areas of your body at one time. It’s recommended to knead the pad after putting it in the microwave to spread out the heat everywhere, but I haven’t found that I’ve needed to do that at all. To me, it seems like the heat is already well apportioned when I take the pad out of the microwave.Vakker Products Corp. truly cares about its products and goes the extra mile for customers, even sending an informative email that has a “frequently asked questions” PDF attached to assist buyers. I also like how simple and clear the instructions are and appreciate the included listings of applications for both hot and cold therapy. Heat therapy, for instance, relieves tension in muscles, helps with back pain, assists with stomach and kidney pain, and helps in other ways. The cold therapy, according to the booklet, assists with bruises, insect bites, inflammation, migraines, and fevers. This is all interesting stuff that I did not know about regarding hot and cold therapy.A few tips: The pad is pretty darned hot after taking it out of the microwave at the recommended heating times, so be careful. When the pad is hot like that, you’ll definitely want to put it in the included cloth that closes with Velcro and lessens the heat when it touches your body. When the pad is cold, however, I like keeping it out of the cloth because the cloth seems to stifle the coldness too much. And, as I said, no matter how hot or cold this pad gets, the temperatures last a good amount of time in one sitting, which is great.I look forward to using this pad on various parts of my body for years to come. It feels wonderful on my body when it’s warm and hot during these cold-weather months, and I’m excited to use it as a cooling pad when it’s stifling hot in the summer. I absolutely love the MOQY heating pad. It arrived quickly and was in a gorgeous box with beautiful design. Everything about the packaging and the product feels luxurious! It is also packaged with an instructional booklet that is wonderfully charming and very clear about the use and care of the product. You can use it for both heat and icing, and both feel great. I use the pad for deep, long lasting heat relief on my back and shoulders to help with chronic pain, as well as to help with muscle cramps. I also love how natural it feels and that it doesn't ever feel too hot because of the way the moor transfers the heat. Heating it in small increments and to the touch so you can find the right temperature is the best method, as it states in the booklet. The pad keeps the heat well and is comfortable for a very long period of time while still delivering consistent and penetrating heat.It is also very comfortable and comes with a soft and hypoallergenic cotton cover. The cover is easy to slip onto the pad when it's warm, and it stays on snug while you're using it with three velcro attachments at the opening. The plastic seems durable and high quality--the edges are firm yet pliable and not sharp. The shape of the pad also makes it easy to use as an icepack, you can fold the arms inward and it holds its shape well when freezing (great for storage too). I love the squishy yet firm feel of the pad, and the design and filling is very unique. The price may seem a little high for a microwavable heating pad, but whole experience of using the MOQY pad felt like being pampered and the natural versatility of the pad makes it well worth the price.

Great item for easing pain and also you can use it cold for headaches I have migraines so ideal for putting it on my neck and back of my head, heat it up in the microwave and it stays hot for ages so you don’t have to keep getting up to reheat it I highly recommend this item

I often have sore neck and over the years have tried many solutions. Recently I found the moor heating pad and its great! Easy to use, quick and really effective to release tension and provide relief to my stiff neck.Totally recommend it! Definitely worth the money.
