Fairly sure this is a fake - bought a genuine chain from LBS and the box is different. This chain was rusted / corroded within a month of being installed.

Never buy a cheap chain for under £30 as the last thing you want to have to try and repair at the road side is a snapped chain but be honest don't buy anything cheap for your bike as it needs to be as safe and reliable as possible. The chain was easy to fit thou the quick release link was hard to snap in to position which is a good thing. Gear shifting is good and I have had no problems but I always buy Shimano chains and as that's the reason I have had no issues. Make sure you oil the chain as the liquid on the chain is to protect while sealed so clean the chain first then use a good dry lube or wet lube but I tend to use Muc off which again is not cheap but protects my chain and cassette.

Been riding in Utah's dusty conditions and noticed my old chain was starting to stretch after about 1500 miles - time for a replacement. This Shimano chain's been on for a couple hundred miles now and it's definitely quieter than my worn-out one. Shifts are smooth and consistent. One heads up - this uses Shimano's specific quick link system, not the old pin style. You'll need special pliers to install or remove it. The SIL-TEC coating seems to be helping with our local dust issues, but it pairs best with a dry lube like White Lighting or Finish Line. For now, it's doing exactly what it should - running quiet and smooth on my 11-speed setup. I've always been a Shimano fan boy.

Claro que é uma corrente prática, porque é fácil de montar devido ao sistema quick link, mas o que faz esta corrente brilhar é a qualidade de materiais e construção da Shimano. É uma corrente que gera pouco atrito. Claro que haverá melhores, mas para o preço que esta corrente tem, está muito bem mesmo. E convenhamos, para ciclismo amador isto é mais do que suficiente. A corrente é forte, responde bem em qualquer circunstância, inclusive em subidas mais íngremes. As passagens de caixa são precisas, pelo menos eu tenho uma cassette de 11 velocidades, também da Shimano, e não tenho quaisquer problemas. Não posso dizer que sejam suaves, sobretudo se estiver a puxar quando mudo velocidade, mas isso normalmente é assim e não tem a ver com a corrente per si. Já se estiver numa zona plana, onde possa aliviar ligeiramente a potência naquele preciso momento da passagem, a mudança de velocidade faz-se de forma tão suave que praticamente não gera feedback. Em termos de durabilidade, não posso comentar porque depende do tipo de ciclismo que praticarem bem como do trato que lhe derem, nomeadamente no que respeita à manutenção. Alguns podem ter de a substituir com maior brevidade e outros nem por isso. No meu caso apenas refiro que entretanto já tenho umas largas centenas de quilómetros com a mesma corrente e continua a responder bem e sem quaisquer problemas.
