My daughter laughs at me. I have used this perfume since it came out which was probably back in the 80s. It’s such a nice perfume for the summer. I enjoy wearing it, it stays on so it has pretty good strength swim, and I still can smell the scent of it. Call me old-fashioned, but I love this perfume.

I had not used this parfum for over 20 years. It used to be one of my favorites in my early 20s.I was ambivalent about ordering it after reading the negative reviews but went ahead anyway. So glad I did because it is exactly like I remember it. Now a parfum is stronger than an eau de toilette, ergo, the comments if it being so strong by some, but it only takes one small sprtiz. Also, remember that body chemistry changes over the years so that may be the reason that on some it may smell slightly different now. I simply love it and it brings back a sunami of memories.

I wore this cologne many years ago and thought it wasn't available anymore because I haven't seen it in over 30 years. My best friends mom used to wear it too!. I was surprised when I found it here so bought 2 bottles, 1 for myself and 1 for BFF's mom. It is very light baby powderish smell that I use right out of the shower. It smells fresh and clean and very reasonably priced. Great for that young lady's 1st bottle of fragrence and the scent is so light you can use it for fragrence layering to create your own signature waft.

If you've never smelled Blue Grass, it has a lovely, very subtle scent that is not at all overpowering. My Mom has worn this fragrance for as long as I can remember and it's fabulous to have it readily available here on Amazon, packaged well, and at a good price. It's always a great gift for Mom and a classic fragrance that's timeless.

I wore this perfume quite a bit in the Eighties and was disappointed when it disappeared from the perfume counters. What a wonderful surprise it was to find it here! And what a disappointment it was when my shipment arrived. This is NOT the same perfume I used to wear.This has been changed - emboldened one might say. It is horrible. Something has been added to it to make it very strong smelling. I's not just the staying power of the fragrance - the fragrance itself has changed and for the worse.This is very unfortunate. I would have been thrilled to buy this again and frequently, it was such a beautiful perfume. Sigh.

like the smell but doesn't stay on long.

My mother mentioned in passing that she remembered her own mother wearing this “Blue Grass” perfume; a fond memory from childhood. To my delight, I found it is still available—since 1936–and at an extremely good price. I bought some for her. The gift brought tears to her eyes, as it was the same scent she remembered. It is absolutely lovely and I will likely buy some for myself as well.

A coworker had this fragrance on at work one day about 30 years ago. When I asked what she was wearing, she giggled and said, "It's usually worn by old ladies but I love it. It's called Blue Grass". I was 27, not an old lady back then, but I didn't care WHO wore it: it smelled so clean!! I bought it, and even though I've vascillated between newer scents from time to time, I always come back to this. In fact, the first time I wore it, my beloved mother asked what familiar perfume I was wearing, when I told her it was Blue Grass, she laughed and said that it was what she wore in her late teens and 20's, when she met my dad in 1944 (they married in 1947; a true lifetime love story). So my motivation to come back again has many meanings to me, but the scent itself is just pure heavenly!! And it arrived perfectly packaged and a week early!! THANK YOU AMAZON!!
